I see that AT has some international flights that obviously SW doesn't. Any idea what SW's plans are for those flights once the merger is complete? It's a nice thought to think I could use my SW points for a beach vacation to Aruba. Ha!

They better keep them. We flew to Jamaica on Airtran and it was so easy to transfer points from SW to Airtran and vice versa

SWA will be keeping all the AirTran international flying. By Aug 2013 all of SWA's Pilots and F/As will be trained in international flying. After that it is just a question of when the new computer reservation system will be ready. From what we have been told it will be no later than 1st quarter 2014. This April SWA is starting to take over the AirTran San Juan flying.
