Ain't Nobody Got Time For That - Yucky Neighbors! (1/3)

:rotfl: I like EO too! I think it's the music that I like about it though...."We are here to change the world...OOOOH..gonna change the world, sing it!" :rotfl2: I'm so lame.
That's right all the cool kids like EO :cool2:

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

DH would like your DH's shirt a lot! If you can believe it, I didn't see the movie until about 2 or 3 years ago..and I didn't like it. Had I had seen it many years ago, I would have probably appreciated it.
Probably a fair assessment. It is a much better movie when you watch it as an 8 year old. :thumbsup2

It's possible I haven't seen the Goonies....
Wow... so you didn't even get my Goonies reference earlier at all. :sad2:

Josh, if you're reading this TR, make her watch it!!!! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

I will cry if/when they take EO out again. I loved it when I was little, and my kids like it now. They love Hooter.

Another cool kid right here! :cool1: Josh and I constantly yes HOOTER like they do in the movie LOL

All this love for EO is scaring me. The only thing good about it is making fun of the cheesy 80'sness of it.

We headed into the garden center and explored part of it. There was a session going on, so we felt like we needed to be quiet.

I declared it was time to shop!!!

One of these little guys now lives on the top of my desk at work. It’s a constant reminder of this trip, I love it!

I thought the displays were just adorable!

This photo just made me realize I didn’t buy the tote bag I wanted…

I bought myself a set of ears that I had been staring at for weeks. The man behind the counter offered to cut off the tags, but otherwise was downright rude. You would have thought I was asking him to cut his arm off when I asked to have it shipped back to the room. He threw the pen at the desk. He apologized for that and was more pleasant from then on out. Anywho I got my gnome, an new set of ears, a mini gift card, and a few other fun things!

I also picked up a passport that I could use to get stamps throughout the festival, and it included a listing of all the displays to visit.

Here are the new ears!

I got lots of comments on them through the week. Most of the Cast members didn’t seem to know that they were for sale at Epcot!
A very nice lady saw us trying to take a photo with Pluto in the back ground and offered to take this for us!

We strolled by the Buzz topiary

Our next stop was the “For the Birds” area, right outside of Mouse Gears

They had these super neat bird houses

And a special garden with flowers that were specially planted to attract birds.

Sounds like the CM wasn't much of an EO fan either. :rolleyes1 :lmao:

I do like the ears though. I've never seen those before. It is kind of cool that they have something like that to commemorate the F&G Festival.

:faint: You are so cruel!!!!!!!

I love them! Plus they fit the theme at Animal Kingdom, so they got lots of wear!

Great trip report. I just finished looking through the posts and pics.
Thank you! Lots more to come!

What a rude CM. Boo.

Wow really love those ears! I don't think i've ever seen those before on other threads. Super cute!

Those are cool bird feeders!

Yeah he was not having a magical day.....

I love those ears too, I am glad I had the chance to get them, they only sell them during the festival!

I thought the whole bird area was really neat!

Sorry for the long time no post guys, I work in an office that is INSANE this time of year!

After seeing the bird garden, we headed up the path that would lead us to the butterfly garden, but first we got to stop by Radiator Springs!

This area was so cute!

We also got to walk by the Lion King display!

I was very excited when we reached Tinkerbell’s Butterfly House!

I fell in love with all the fairy houses scattered around!

I loved the butterflies fluttering around!

Rollerskate fairy house

Each of the fairies had a topiary in Tinkerbell’s Butterfly House

Josh loves the opportunity to learn about just about anything. He loved the signs and explanations that they had posted around.

We enjoyed wandering around and just peeking at the gardens and the butterflies.

On the way out we got to see the Tinkerbell topiary, which was outside of the House. This is also when I remember I was supposed to get my Flower and Garden passport stamped!

Before I finish reading everything. 1) Josh's surprised look is because he found out you have crabs! A cute little jamaican crab!

2) of course I forgot what I was going to mention. Oh yes...WHY DID YOU NOT SAY FOR THE MOVE IT AND SHAKE IT PARTY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Oh my gosh, seriously my all time favorite thing ever at Disney. I could watch that a bazillion times.

Okay, I'll comment more in a few.

I need a fairy house! Love the pictures of Tinkerbell and friends.

I was so confused for a second, then I realized what photo you were talking about :rotfl: We didn't stay for the party, I guess I didn't realize you can dance with the characters until later in the week. Next time!!

I love the fairy garden! Such a fantastic idea:thumbsup2

It was really cute, and I love butterflies so that was super fun!
