Ain't Nobody Got Time For That - Yucky Neighbors! (1/3)

These flowerbeds were just BREATHTAKING. They made the walk to the international gateway very nice!

On our way to the next Passport station, we stopped to take some photos! AWKWARD!

And slightly less awkward!

It was getting VERY hot. But, I wanted to check out the OZ area!

Each of these little areas had a game like ring toss or bean bag toss.

Josh played the ring toss!

And these mirrors made me shorter, and wider…. Like I needed that!

We didn’t stop for the bean bag toss, and I am still kicking myself for it, because this is where we would have gotten our flower seeds!

The person with the stamp for this area was at the end of the walkway, near the photo area. He was a HOOT and was willing to take a photo for us, if we would follow his directions!

This area had the most beautiful glass poppies!

The back entrance was very nice as well.

At this point I was getting a little too warm, luckily the next area to get a stamp was a nice shaded spot!

This area let you learn about how they grow crops in water, and decorate a plant pot.

Since everyone was commenting about how great the butterfly garden is, I'm going to leave that one alone and go back to the first part of that update. Those Cars topiaries are pretty awesome.

The Oz area looks pretty cool too. The games look like a nice little diversion as well.

Awesome pics! :goodvibes

About 54782514566 more to come :rotfl:

The Cars area was really cool, I think I have more photos of it from another day :) The games in the Oz area were cute, we didn't spend too long there, they did have thingies where you could stick your face in and have your photo taken.

As we wandered away from the Oz area we found this little guy next to one of the DVC areas.

We were VERY excited to see the Peter Pan, Tick Tock and Captain Hook topiaries! They were right outside the bathrooms in the UK area!

Our plan for lunch had been to originally eat a Via Nappoli, but when they announced the menus of the new Flower Garden Food Booths we ditched the reservation, and decided to eat around the world for Lunch! Since we were in the area… we decided to stop at the UK food booth! You can read a really in depth review HERE on my dining review!

We chose two snacks, the chive biscuit and the baked brie!

I posted a requested photo from my phone for a DISboard friend who wanted to see what she would be enjoying shortly at the festival!

We enjoyed these on a lovely little bench next to the Pub’s take out window. While we relaxed we people watched and cooled down a bit. The heat really gets to me, much worse than it does Josh!
After our snack we decided to do a little peeking in the shops!
Josh being a hoot!

I noticed a very special line had almost no line and yelled at Josh to join me quickly! Good thing I did, because people started piling up behind us!

After visiting with a silly old bear we headed out to peek at the tea garden. I was not able to find someone to stamp my passport though.

You made a big mistake. You should have kept the Via Napoli adr, ordered at least a small pizza to share then go stuff yourself at the booths until you need a forklift to take you to the exit. That pizza is just too good to pass on...

Next time!!! We just didn't know if the food booths would be around again in the future. The snacks we got from them were to die for!

Right across from the tea area was a fantastic topiary of Pooh and friends! Eyore is my favorite, so Josh got this great photo!

A very nice man enjoying a beer saw Josh taking a photo of me and told him to get over with me.

Silly old bear

We continued across the bridge to see the dancing princesses!

Once over the bridge I decided it was time for another snack! I wanted to try pate for the first time and figured where better than Disney! You can read my full report HERE in my dining report.

This came with a cherry compote and crisp bread.
Once we got the snack we went over to the gazebo area where Sleeping Beauty meets, trying to hide a bit from the blazing sun.

There was no line, and no one around, so we sat down and started to enjoy. A VERY NASTY Photopass photographer came up and made us leave, so that she could take a bunch of photos of a family. It wasn’t until long after we were gone (from where we moved to) that Sleeping Beauty came out.

Anyway we moved to this bench :

Yeah, not the best photo of me, but they can’t all be winners! I enjoy sharing the bad, so don’t expect that to be the last! The nasty Photopass lady continued to move this family all around the Beauty and the Beast area as well. I think me being on the bench messed her up, but hey she told me to get out!

After our snack we enjoyed the whole area!

Chip

Mrs. Potts

Lumier and Clocksworth!

Belle and her Beast

Thanks for posting all the pictures of the flowers and the different topiary creations!!! I love them!! I never gave it much credit... and decided we didn't need to spend time there when we were there in May, but we were only there for 3 days. :( ANOTHER TIME!!! ha ha... October 2014 here I come!!!!

I'm really glad we did! There are more photos to come, so stay tuned! We are looking forward to October 2014 too!

Wow so many wonderful pictures! I especially love the ones of Beauty and the Beast. I don't think i've ever tried Pate before. I'd probably try it!

Haha I LOVE the 'awkward' photo BTW!:rotfl:

We definitely need to make one munchkin. Is the move it shake it party at Epcot?

The move it and shake it parade/party whatever is in Magic Kingdom. It comes down main street and then parks itself right in front of the castle and the dancing begins! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhSSW_LUNag
You can take pictures, but the characters won't pose or sign autographs. It's a fantastic experience.

I'm just disappointed that you didn't photobomb her pictures after she was rude to you.

Oh I am so going to have to do it next time!

Great pics! :)

I always worry I am sharing too many!

I'm just disappointed that you didn't photobomb her pictures after she was rude to you.

Josh is all like "it's Disney stop trying to get in fights with people." Silly cop husband :rolleyes1

We continued on our way and next came to :

I found my stamp here, and we peeked around. It was another display area, and didn’t really have anything that caught my eye.

Japan turned out to be an adventure! We strolled by, but didn’t stop to get a snack.

The bonsai displays were beautiful! Josh stopped to get some photos.

I couldn’t believe this tree was 30 years old, crazy!

And this one was still tiny at 50!

Kinda looks like the tree is eating this kid…

I loved the pink flowers on this

I’m slightly confused as the next set of photos I have on my camera have us in the American pavilion! This is where we found one of Josh’s all time favorite characters, as a topiary.

With NO coaching, he stepped up to get a photo!!

We next came to the Lady and the Tramp in Italy!

And as we passed into Germany, and came upon Snow White and her friends, in topiary form!

At this point the heat really started to get to me, and I knew if I didn’t take a break from it we were going to have a problem. We headed into the shop in Germany. Josh looked around, and I sat in a corner in the toy room until I cooled off a bit.

Once I lost the “oh my God I am going to die” feeling we looked around.
Josh had me take this fun photo to post to Facebook and tag a friend of his in who is from Germany.

We also took a photo of one of the clocks, because Josh’s parents have one that looks almost exactly like it!

We then went to see the dragon in China!

I loved how they did this over the water! It was beautiful, and different and I just loved it!

Also in this area were these adorable pandas! There was a group of teenagers who were not speaking English who were swapping out for each other and took a full 5mins to get all of their photos while a line of us stood around trying to snap a shot of just the pandas. Very irritating, AIN’T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT.

Okay, the Bonsai garden has to be the best thing i've seen yet of all the pics on your TR. I absolutely LOVE Bonsai trees and definitely need one in my house. So gorgeous!

So that's where you title comes from! :lmao: Love it:thumbsup2

I've never really understood the bonsai thing... :confused3 But then again, I live out in the country and can have all the full size trees I want. :lmao:

I'm glad you were able to find a cool spot to regain your composure. I'd have hated to see what might happen at the panda topiary if you didn't have a chance to cool off for a bit before you ran into that situation. :rotfl2:
