For all of you that are interested, tickets for the After Hours Event at MK are on sale now. I was able to buy mine this morning. I know this event is controversial and I did a lot of soul searching before I decided to buy tickets, but I finally decided it was worth a try. I had read that tickets were not going to be available until April 6, and I just called today with a question and was able to purchase.

Looking forward to seeing what attendees think if the event, please share when you're back!

I'm curious, have you tried to book Fast Passes? I know there won't be Fast Passes available after official park close, but I'm wondering if it works the same as the parties. For those, you can usually book Fast Passes between 4pm and 7pm. I'm wondering if you can do the same thing from 7pm to 10pm (or 11pm)?

I booked my fast passes late that day because we are going to Hoop Dee Doo earlier. My last Fast Pass is for 9:20 until 10:20.

Excellent! My husband and I are planning to attend the After Hours event on April 28th. He's at a convention that week, so these late hours worked out perfectly for us. We were also able to book fast passes during the 7-10pm window, but I was on the phone with a CM yesterday about a different topic and she mentioned in passing that Fast Passes wouldn't be available for the After Hours event. I think she must have been thinking of the actual event hours, but I was distracted and didn't question her.

Please share your review of the event. I'm really curious to see what you think.

I just spoke to someone at ticketing who said they still had tickets, they didn't know how many would be sold, but it would be less that the Halloween or Christmas parties. I can't find any numbers on them thought so I have nothing to compare this information to.

I will absolutely report back after the 28th. I'm hoping to hear some reviews from the 14th & 21st events as well, just so I'll kind of know what to expect. Can't wait to hear what you think of it, supamaki!

Like you mentioned in your first post, it wasn't a decision we made lightly either and I'm hoping lines really are short enough to justify the cost. Trying not to set my expectations too high though!! :) But due to being there for the work event, my husband won't get out most nights until 6pm so even though the tickets are expensive, we'll actually get several more hours use out of the After Hours tickets than we would the discounted convention tickets Disney offers. When we did the math, the "per hour" cost was about the same for both options.

I wasn't going to buy one, but I realized that the perfect night of my trip to go to the Magic Kingdom is one of these nights. I asked about the ride list, since I don't go on many of the rides. Unfortunately 2 of my favorites (Haunted Mansion and PeopleMover) aren't on the list, but the list is quite extensive otherwise. (All attractions subject to change, of course.)

I purchased mine back on March 28th and it arrived in the mail just a few days later. Linked it to MyDisneyExperence. Good to go.

When I purchased our tickets, the CM read off the list of attractions to me and we specifically talked about Haunted Mansion not being included. The CM seemed surprised by that and said the list was formatted a little strangely so maybe it had just been missed. Later, it seems that correspondence was sent out to travel agencies with a list of attractions that included Haunted Mansion (see quote below from a different thread). I guess we will just have to wait and see but I do at least have a FastPass for Haunted Mansion during the 7-10pm window! It's our favorite ride as well, so we will definitely be disappointed if it's not operating.

For informational purposes...this is what is being distributed to travel agents this morning. Answers the questions about which rides will be opened. Still no mention of any rare characters. The phrasing on capacity is still vague but slightly more illuminating (maybe?)...

Attractions – Astro Orbiter, Barnstormer, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Ranger Spin, Country Bear Jamboree, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Haunted Mansion, It’s A Small World, Mad Tea Party, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Jungle Cruise, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan’s Flight, Prince Charming Regal Carousel, PFTH - Select Princesses, PFTH – Frozen, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, Stitch’s Great Escape, Swiss Family Treehouse, Splash Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Town Square Mickey, Journey of the Little Mermaid & Enchanted Tiki Room

# of Tickets - Capacity to this event is VERY limited (considerably less than our traditional hard ticket events. Guests will experience minimal to no wait times to the 27 identified attractions! Guests will receive credentials.

Tickets have been on sale since March 22 due to an early leak (see links below). We would love to hear reviews :)

Good to hear - that other list sounds very much like the one I heard, except for the Haunted Mansion.

I just called and asked for the list, and the Cast Member rattled them off so fast (subject to change) that I couldn't write them down fast enough and I'm sure I missed a few, but Haunted Mansion was on his list. Here's what I got:

Space Mountain
Astro Orbiter
Big Thunder
Buzz
Country Bear
Haunted Mansion
Peter Pan
Small World
Philharmagic
7 Dwarfs Mine Train
Stitch
Treehouse
Barnstormers
Pooh
Tomorrowland Speedway
Enchanted Tiki Room
Princess Greetings at Fairytale Hall

I'm sure I missed 2 or 3. Maybe Dumbo? I specifically asked about Jungle Cruise and it was not on his list.

Pretty good lineup though, IMHO.

I am going May 19th and I am so curious to know how it goes for everyone else! Please post pictures and details! More importantly, have a blast.

I bought my ticket today. I wasn't going to, but my husband insisted. I'll be there next Thursday the 14th.
