After Hours Event Ticket

I'm curious, have you tried to book Fast Passes? I know there won't be Fast Passes available after official park close, but I'm wondering if it works the same as the parties. For those, you can usually book Fast Passes between 4pm and 7pm. I'm wondering if you can do the same thing from 7pm to 10pm (or 11pm)?
That's what I was told when I bought my ticket. I can't verify it though, I previously had EP FP+ booked for that morning.

On the question of whether or not we will be able to book FP+ for this....

Short answer is: I really don't know for sure (aren't I so helpful!?). But, I'll offer this longer narrative of my experience in case it is somewhat more helpful than my short answer:

When I called to book these event tickets I asked about the possibility of booking FP+, and was told no FP+ booking available during the event, though if we were also using a regular park entry ticket (in addition to the party ticket) to be in the MK earlier in the day we could book FP+ up until regular park close at 10pm, but that was it. I clarified that we would not be visiting any other parks that day until the event, but that I understood we could enter the parks as early as 7pm, and would we be able to book FP+ from the 7-10pm window, understanding that there would be no FP+ at all for anyone during the event (10pm-1am). I was again told no, no FP+ booking for the event attendees. I politely commented that this seemed a little odd, since couldn't I go to a kiosk upon park entry and book an available FP+ anytime between 7-10pm? He simply repeated that there was no FP+ for this event. It left me scratching my head, but I didn't push it any further. I suspect the CM was misinformed, as the news about this event broke early and I'm guessing they weren't prepared to field too many questions.

Just for kicks, I went into MDE tonight and decided to try booking FP+ to see what would happen and it let me book them. Now, as a little background: My 16yo DD and I have multi-day tickets and will use those tickets to visit parks on days before and after the date of the event we are attending (4/28); not going into a park on 4/28 until we can enter with the event ticket at 7pm. I had previously booked our FP+ for the other days of our trip and did not even try to book on 4/28 because I'd been told it wasn't available (silly me to blindly trust like that). Tonight, when I went into MDE, it let me select my DD and I, our travel date, MK as our park, and it proceeded with the FP+ selection process from there. When I was done, I double-checked that the rest of my pre-existing FP+ were still there, and they were. I don't know how their system knows which tickets to use for which days, but hopefully it does. I would actually like it if the system would allow you to select which ticket you wanted to use (in addition to which person and which park, etc.), but I suppose there probably aren't very many people with multiple tickets in MDE at the same time. My situation is complicated by having a short trip scheduled in late May with my middle DD and so I hope the system knows which tickets/FP+ for which trip and which person, but I will probably stop at Guest Relations on our first day to have them doublecheck everything and verify that entitlements are being pulled from the right tickets. Anyway, I digress... Point being, the system DID let me book FP+ for the event date. Now the odd thing (to me), is that it was offering me FP+ options throughout the day -- I would have thought they'd have the system offer only FP+ beginning at 7pm for people booking FP+ through the event tickets, but maybe they just didn't bother to do that and figure anyone who books FP+ before they can actually get into the park will have to forfeit them. The system definitely stopped offering FP+ at 10pm (the latest one I booked was 7DMT with a window of 9:25-10:00), so I'm fairly confident the CM was correct that there would not be FP+ at all during the event.

Sorry this got so long. Hopefully it's somewhat helpful to someone...!

The CM was telling you what he is supposed to tell you. Some day I expect this loop hole to be closed.

Lots of us have multiple tickets in their accounts. Anyone with any kind of party ticket likely has other tickets in their accounts.

Go to Guest Relations BEFORE entering a park and ask them to prioritize your tickets in the order you wish to use them. Imagine your account like a virtual queue line and the system will hit the next ticket it sees. FP+ and tickets are assigned to specific persons.

This is kind of what I suspect has happened for me...that it's a bit of an unintended loop hole. I was able to book fast passes for 4/28 between 7-10pm. The only other ticket I have on my account is a convention ticket that is good from 2pm to close and I was offered options throughout the day, not just for after 2pm. It makes me wonder if I would have been able to schedule fast passes if the After Hours ticket had been the only one on my account.

I am going into it with the hope that I'll be able to use the fast passes I have booked, but with the understanding that when I go through the fast pass line, I may be rejected. However, if the CM hadn't happened to mention in passing about not having fast passes for the After Hours event, I wouldn't have even thought twice about it! I had just figured it would be exactly like the Halloween or Christmas parties, and I thought people had always been able to book fast passes during the 4-7pm window before the parties started.

As for prioritizing which ticket to use, we will use the convention tickets at Epcot first so I'm hoping that won't be a problem. But just to be on the safe side, I think I may use the actual physical ticket to get into the parks rather than just relying on my Magic Band even though I do have the tickets linked in MDE. I'm slightly anxious about this trip just because everything feels very "up in the air"...it's the first time we've visited and not stayed on-site with regularly booked reservations/tickets. So fingers-crossed that everything goes smoothly!
