Advice wanted PI on NYE

Thought we may check this out this year, because it is the first time that all our family will be over 21. For the past couple of years the special ticket has been around $60 to $80 per person, so that will be OK, but does anything different happen that night? Is the place so very crowded that you spend the evening waiting in extra long lines for the Comedy Warehouse or the Library at the Adventurers Club or even the restrooms LOL! Is it extra specially dressy? What happens at midnight? Thanks for all your thoughts.

I'm curious too...although I, who never ever misses a night at PI, probably won't pay the extra and will end up in a theme park with most everybody else.

they usually have some big name like 80's star or something......I can't remember who it has been, but its like PI+a concert...

WDW will release info about NYE some time late July or early Aug. I'm waiting too!
