Good Morning Ya'll,

Are we having fun Now? I'm thrilled that we have kept this thing going!! Today is going to be one of those run the kids all over days so I don't know how much I'll be on. Maybe ya'll should start acting like celebrities, call in the stylist. Erin and Heather, I'd like to say I can help but as a SAHM of 3, I think I've lost my style.(oh, about 9yrs ago ) Luckily I have an identical twin who stays on top of things.
That's a bummer ya'll did not get the note or list maker, let me know if you want me to hook you up. I need to go, I hear the girls messing around instead of getting dressed. Is it Friday yet?

I do know that there is at least one parent of a special needs child. There is at least one mom of five kids and one with one child. I've travelled to WDW in many different configurations over the years (completely solo, alone with DH, with a sitter in tow, with another family, with my parents, etc.), so I have that to draw from.

My parents are pretty into it too. My dad keeps sending me these emails about the "Mommy Club." He said he keeps picturing me on the Mickey Mouse Club show he watched when he was a kid. Dad actually asked me if all the Panelists were from the US. I don't know. Maybe there's a token Canadian, like there's a token Dad .

I figured there would be someone with a special needs child, and I'm glad, because that person will be extremely helpful to other parents of special needs kids!

I think it's neat how into this your dad is getting! Your whole family must be so excited and thrilled for you!

LOL, I hear ya, Julie, my style has been gone for about 14 years now! The question isn't 'is it Friday yet', the question is it NEXT Friday yet because that's the day I'm going to DL! We are actually leaving our house on Thursday night because we are going to spend the night near the airport since it's 2+ hours from here and our flight is really early, but by this time next week, I'll be in the air on my way to see Mickey!

LOL, I hear ya, Julie, my style has been gone for about 14 years now! The question isn't 'is it Friday yet', the question is it NEXT Friday yet because that's the day I'm going to DL! We are actually leaving our house on Thursday night because we are going to spend the night near the airport since it's 2+ hours from here and our flight is really early, but by this time next week, I'll be in the air on my way to see Mickey!

Oh, the sacrifices we make as parents. My wardrobe $ is spent each year on our WDW or DL trip. (don't really feel the need to dress up each day so my DS 3 can look at me) I figure I may not be the trendiest one there, but I can guarantee I will be one of the most comfortable.

Ya'll who did not make it to the final twelve I heard you may be getting something special from FedEx. Be on the look out. Once everyone has checked in that they have theirs I want to know what it is. So Poohmom, Josh or The6ofUs feel free to PM me if you don't want to let the cat out of the bag for the others.

Oh my goodness....I just received the most beautiful appreciation gift from the MOMS Panel. I was like a kid on Christmas morning opening it up and I have tears all over again...it is so beautiful.

Out of respect to my fellow runner-ups, I won't disclose what it is yet...I want them to have the same magical feeling when they open it.

Thank you MOMS Panel!

...and I'll keep wishing for my dream to come true!

You know what? I was thinking, we are going to DL in a few weeks and I know some of you finalist and Semi's are going to WDW. I think we should take the certificate they gave us for making it to the finals and have it placed on shirts to wear in the park. Maybe someone will feel for us because we didn't win and we will be give a dream!!!

My 4 year old started squealing when the phone call came. She heard my reaction and knew, and she started jumping and screaming we won a trip to Disney World! Then the 2 year old joined in, and I had to go upstairs because I couldn't hear the CMs anymore! LOL Thankfully they were very nice about it and laughed along with us. I was half crying. I hope they thought that was cute and not insane.

The CM's that called you were execs - and believe me, they're almost as thrilled announcing this to you as you are receiving it!

I just got my FedEx and I am going to wait to open it until my family is home. They were so supportive of me and I already have tears in my eyes. (Sorry to all of you who want to know what it is...)

You are a stronger woman than I!!!!! I think my hands would have been ripping the box open before I even knew they were I would just have to feel bad afterward. Lets just say I'm not good at surprises. Take this as a warning. It took everything in me not to post after I made it to round 2.

Oh on the Minni audio...my girls were also thrilled. Annie shouted, "Mom! Minnie Mouse knows your name!!!" She was very impressed.

Does anyone knw if there is a way to record that audio to my hard drive or to a CD? I'd like to keep it forever.

Hi Bella Buggy,

I take it this was a phone call? Did you record it? If so, and it is on cassette, you run a line from line out to line in on your puter (see user manual, which should be a PDF on your harddrive, for locations) and use a program such as the free Audcaity (cnet.com) to digitze it, clean it up, and then you have it as a file, whatever kind you chose, MP3 being my usual choice. Most current CD players will play those.

I am from Western PA! I think I am pretty close to twende. We are in Greensburg...40 minutes outside of Pittsburgh. We are going to the Brown vs. Steelers game Sunday. I am thinking Twende may be a Browns fan? Just got my Big Ben Jersey!!!!

That sounds like fun. We get to visit ds at school next week and stay for lunch but we have to bring our own lunch.

I can't wait to find out what you guys got from fed ex. It sounds exciting.

So winners, who's going for a total makeover? I know I would have been headed to the stores for a new wardrobe. Hmmm, maybe they'll have a style consultant for you before you get on camera. I can't wait to hear about all the interesting little things you will be doing in WDW.

Heather, are you gonna have to wean the baby or are you gonna be able to take her with you? I was really hoping they would work something out for you.

I just wanted to acknowledge all the VETS in anyone's family and to give my sincere appreciation for what they have done for this country. Also if there are any current military out there! Thank you!

DH is a reservist....activated twice since 9/11. It is very hard on families and just wanted to say thank you to anyone that has family or friends serving! It is a sacrafice.

We had a wonderful program at dd's school! It brought tears to my eyes. I get choked up with this sort of thing. 600 kids waving flags and playing taps is something special!

Erica C.'s brother (a.k.a. Ratboy) is on there, and she has been posting about him applying (and then winning) on there.

She posted this earlier:

"LOL- I can't believe he picked the name RatBoy for his DIS username. What's up with that?

And that Disney picked him nonetheless. It was very clear that the Disney group followed the DIS discussions on the panel. Kinda funny thinking about that, having a Disney spy reading the posts, basically.
