Hi - I was a finalist (reject) and just received the email.

I also spent sometime reading some of the Q&A's. You guys are doing great! I know you want the site to be busy but I do hope it slows down a bit so you can take a breather!

Oh, and apparently JoRy (you still out there, Josh?) and I need to say 'hey' to Brian from MA! You made my night!

Hi! I just received the coveted "Moms Club" e-mail invitation. It wasn't filtered; I found it in my "in-box." So... if -- by chance -- the message was released in waves, now might be a good time for other semi-finalists to check their e-mail.

Just got my email too! However, when I go in to update my profile it shows a previous address and won't let me change it???? I will have to call. I don't understand that! I have tried edit several times with no luck!

Bret, I mean "Ratboy", sure seems to have the inside scoop! HMMMMMM????

I was secretly hoping maybe the panel was in need of let's say...maybe 88 more panelists!!

Just a quick check-in here (this Panel stuff keeps a girl BUSY).

All the moms panel applicants were supposed to get the invitation to the new group. Check your spam boxes, etc.

I'm sure the tech folks are somehow tracking hits to the site, but we haven't bet let in on that.

Everyone who has a question answered on the site IS supposed to get a personal email too. They're having technical difficulties and are working on it.

I don't think that I updated my info on file with Disney before I applied. I'm really not sure either way, but I'm guessing that they did not check the details of when people last visited. I think for most of the people that made it past the first round, it was pretty obvious that they had a passion for Disney.

Gotta make dinner ...

Thanks Erin, I appreciate the update. It's not like you have anything else to do. I must commend ya, with all the writing you guys have been doing we'd be picking up take out. I hope you guys are having fun. Oh one other thing, you guys are all great at keeping secrets!!!!

Hi! I am a semi-finalist and just received the email too! I have also checked out the site and you guys are all doing a great job!

I am wondering if we are on a seperate distribution list and it is just a computer issue that will get resolved. I hope we are able to vote. That is pretty neat!

Let us know if any other semi-finalists got the email. I don't see any that have at this point however I may have missed something through the postings.

OK panelists I need your opinion. I got the email for the wdw "moms club" and I can't vote on a name. I am not thrilled with any of them, but I would still like to vote. I tried to click on one of the choices but they aren't clickable. I hit submit and nothing happens. So here's my question. Do I just hit reply and email them back (even though at the bottom it says do not reply to this message) or do I hit the contact us link that takes you to a standard form for questions on the wdw site. I'm not sure if it would get to them either way. I wonder if I do not vote they will think I am uninterested. Also if you have anyway to make them aware of this, it seems to be happening to a few of us. Thanks!

While we were overwhelmed with 10,000 responses in just one week, it also was a turning point. When we saw the passion and heart warming stories you shared about your experiences at Walt Disney World ® Resort, we realized it was important to stay connected with you.

We would like to extend an invitation to you to become a member of a new club – a Walt Disney World® “Moms Club.” The name is still to be determined – in fact; you can help determine the name. We were told that you were supposed to get your answers in an email as well as on the site. I will mention this to the tech people. We've been keeping them busy finding little glitches in the system, but I'm sure all the kinks will be worked out in no time.

Thanks for the question. And thank you to everyone on DIS for the support. There have been some snarky comments about the Panel on other boards. So I'm grateful to have such a nice group behind us here. We really are all just regular people with regular lives here trying to do our best for a product we believe in. So it's frustrating to be treated poorly because of this.

Again, you guys are so amazingly great . It's been wonderul knowing that you all are on our team.

First off I got the email, sounds exciting! I had no problem voting. I got a thanks for submitting page. I was wondering what was in the members kit?!?

I have a question for Kim with the baby. (seems how I have a 13 mth old and am still nursing) You never updated us on what you ended up doing. I am interested in how it all ended? Did your family go? Did you wean?

I also thought I read that the winners were able to bring so many of their family?!? Who actually did? Was it worth it? Did you get to see each other much? Doesn't sound like it.

Another question. How many hours have you all spent on the computer yesterday and today? I know I wouldn't be able to stay off if it was me! Have you answered more than 8 in a day? Are you like on call? How does this exactly work? Do you have a specific time at the computer?

Keep up the great work! I enjoyed reading the pages and especially enjoyed reading Brett's write up on the other site. Very informative and well written!!!!! (that's five thumbs up!)
