Hi everyone!

Keeping tabs on this like everyone else! First of all, I want to tell you all how impressed I am with this site along with your videos. You guys did a truly awesome job! I am really proud of you all! I am so sorry there has been negative feedback on other boards! We all have to keep in mind the spirit of Disney! You guys did such a great job and now I see why you were all picked! KUDOS TO YOU ALL!!!!! You all have really impressed me along with the professionalism and quality of the site! Great job to Disney and all of you panelists! I haven't had the opportunity to ask a question yet, but I sure will very soon!

A couple questions:

1)Do you all know how many hits and questions this site is getting? I am just curious to see what the public response to this all is.

2) This other email going around...I didn't receive it! I am a little bummed because I was a semi-finalist, I was just curious to see if any other semi's rec'd it. Feedback anyone?

I really just wanted to tell you all how impressed I am and say "Job well done!". I don't think any of you could have made a better impression and wow.....such a great representation of Disney Moms/Dads! Kudos to Disney as well!

Re: voting on the new email Disney sent today - it should jump from your email client to the Disney website with a text message that the vote has been recorded. When I clicked it, it opened my Netscape and showed the message - URL was a Disney URL.

I also asked my first question to the Mom's panel! I was browsing through some of the questions and you are doing a great job answering them! There is passion for Disney in your answers which is so wonderful! I bet you all are having a blast! I know Disney is so proud!

Sorry I haven't been here for a little bit, but glad I checked back in. Thanks for all of the nice messages about the site, videos, etc.

I also love seeing some of the questions coming into the Moms Panel site with "DIS" signatures.

Regarding the email, my understanding was that it would go to all 10,000 (or 9,988?!) applicants. Sometimes this stuff takes a while to get through the internet. Also, as before, check for spam filters, etc.

Lastly, about the voting for the new group name...can we start a write-in campaign for something without the word "Mom" in it?

Leslie- Another semi-finalist here. I also did not get the email that was sent today. Maybe they have something else in mind for us (hoping) or maybe we just haven't gotten the email yet.

To the panelist- Great job so far. I have watched a few videos and checked out some of the questions. I haven't come up with a good question yet, but I'm working on it. The site itself seems a little slow, do you know if that is because it is already very busy? Also how do the questions get answered? Is there someone who is reading the questions and then sending them to your inbox or do you each cover a certain topic? Just curious.
Keep up the good work. I hope you don't get overwhelmed by all the questions.

I tried to vote but I am not sure it submitted. I ended up hitting reply and voted that way.

I tried to update my profile and they keep addressing me as my DH but when I go to the profile it is correct but the email comes in my DH's name!

Me too, I was a semi-finalist who hasn't received anything either. I'm going to put a positive spin on it and say that if they kept info on the other 9900 who didn't make it to round 2 they must be keeping our info also Who knows maybe the site will take off (better than they anticipated) and they will need more than 12 "moms" on the panel. So far it seems they have all been really busy answering questions. After all they were only supposed to post I think it was around 8 times or so a week. Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed

I am wondering if we are on a seperate distribution list and it is just a computer issue that will get resolved. I hope we are able to vote. That is pretty neat!

You know: The same thought crossed my mind -- although I'm trying not to get my hopes up, especially since Bret/Ratboy suggested that the e-mail was supposed to go to all 10,000 applicants (give or take 12). I guess time will tell...

Just a quick check-in here (this Panel stuff keeps a girl BUSY).

All the Moms Panel applicants were supposed to get the invitation to the new group. Check your spam boxes, etc.

I'm sure the tech folks are somehow tracking hits to the site, but we haven't been let in on that.

Everyone who has a question answered on the site IS supposed to get a personal email too. They're having technical difficulties and are working on it.

I don't think that I updated my info on file with Disney before I applied. I'm really not sure either way, but I'm guessing that the CMs did not check the details of when people last visited. I think for most of the people that made it past the first round, it was pretty obvious that they had a passion for Disney and had visited somewhat recently.

Gotta make dinner ...
