ADR's and Christmas Party Question...

We have an ADR for 7:10PM on 11/16~ however, I just noticed that the park actually *closes* at 7PM. That night is also a party night~ we do not have tickets for the party. So how will that work? Are they going to kick us out of the park and we will miss our reservation? Or will they let us eat and then kick us out?

This is our first trip so I'm really pretty clueless about how this will go down...I appreciate any help!

you will not be allowed to stay in the park for your reservation. It has to be prior to the park closure uness you have tickets to the party

Unfortunately, it won't work.

6:55 = all good, no problem at all. But 7:10 will mean a firm request to exit the park asap.

Well that stinks! I guess I'm glad I asked now instead of finding out then! Do you think if I call I might have any luck getting in earlier?
I can't believe the reservation system even let me make it for that time without some sort of warning!

It's definitely worth a call to try to reschedule. If that doesn't work, are there any restaurants at the nearby monorail/boat resorts that appeal to you?

You can call to see if there is anything available before 7:00. If there isn't, you will have to check online multiple times a day to see if a cancellation comes up. You can also subscribe to the cancellation thread for November:

The res system doesn't know whether you have party tickets or not, but there is usually a statement that the reservation time you are choosing is during a special ticketed event. It is easy to overlook however.
