I was trying to call today for ADR"S since today is my 90 day window for May 22. today when I called I could not book past May 25. The CM did not know why that was but all she said was it would not show any ressies for that day and on. Don't know when I will be ablel to book for the rest of my trip. I guess I will keep trying everyday. What a pain
Wow! Good luck! That would have my knickers in a twist for sure!:scared1: Mine are set for April, but I have to call early in March for our June trip and I am concerned that with the new online system there might be some slowdowns in the processing. We had no problems with our April ressies. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for everyone!!:)

Just wanted to let you all know that I called today at 7:00 am EST to make dining reservations for my 5/23/09-5/30/09 trip. I was able to book up until 5/26/09 with no problem. I was then told that I had to be transferred to another number for the other reservations. Three times they transferred me and after waiting over 45 minutes on hold, I hung up, figuring that they had transferred me yet again to the wrong number. I called back and selected the option for dining beginning with the 26th of May and was on hold over an hour! I got mad and called back using the option for "other" and explained my problem to a supervisor. She was able to book the other dining reservations for me. She was very nice, but sheesh, it took me from 5:00 am MST to 8:00 am MST just to make the reservations. I need my beauty sleep!

This morning I called dining reservations to change my CRT from June 14 to June 19. It went well but the CM said when we changed our room reservations over to the 4/3 nights free they tacked the price of the meals on to our total price, even though I had a dining plan (that was 8 meals). She said they would reimburse us.
Sometimes I wonder where they get the reservation staff!:crazy2:

Sorry I didn't explain the 180 day window for CM, CRT or V&A clearly. Everyone here explained it much better than I did. We're going 5/19-5/28/09 and I was able to book CM and CRT before the 90 day mark since we will be there before the 6/19/09 change over.

On a side note, remember if you are staying on property you can book 90 days before your 1st day of your trip and then the next 10 days so you can effectively book 100 days out if you're at a Disney resort. I suspect many places like CRT will fill up with Disney property guests before others have a chance during peak travel times. Not sure if they will change that down the line.

Don't know if this has changed since the switch, but not all times are given out at the +10 mark, some are saved for the official 180 mark. That gives those staying offsite and not checking-in earlier a chance at getting an ADR.

That should still be true. If you call during the 90+10 window and you appear to be shut out for a particular ressie, call again at 90 days from the specific date. I think this came up frequently with CRT ressies.

I tried to get through today. In three separate calls I spent a total of two hours on hold. I didn't even talk to an actual person. With the time difference here, I finally had enough at 3am. The expense of long-distance calls from Australia was also a factor.

Considering this is for one measly reservation for May 28, I didn't think it worth my while hanging around. I had first tried to make this booking - which is an ADR beyond our first ten days - on Friday, where the now familiar spiel of call transfers and system crashes came into play several times during the course fo the night.

I'm sorry to become miffed. But, the pixie dust wears off the fourth time you hear the same hold music. I can tell you it's on a half-hour loop. I think if I am forced to listen to Iago at the Tiki Birds once more, I 'll do something rash.

I hear you, I called in right at 7:00 am and got through but the CM didn't know what she was doing and couldn't figure out how to transfer me since my ressies are for after May 26th, and when she finally did, she transferred me to guest services instead! They transferred me back, I got disconnected, called back, got through, was transferred and waited on the line 45 minutes!!!!:scared1: I finally had to go into work, where my cell phone does not pick up, so I had to hang up after wasting probably 60 cell phone minutes and still no ADRS! I am not happy with this new system!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gosh it was so painless when I had to book last time. Ringing from Australia also I don't think I ever waited more than 5minutes on hold. And I had to ring daily as we didn't get the +10 benefit as we had rented a villa. I'm a bit nervous this time after hearing this. My 90 days is not until June though. Hopefully they will have it ironed out by then.

I called at 7 this morning. I told the CM my ADR's were for 5/26 and after. My trip is actually for 5/24 to 5/29, but I wanted Le Cellier for 5/28 so I thought I should do that first. I was tranferred and put on hold for about 20 minutes. The CM was then able to book all my ADR's and I got everything I wanted within 5 minutes of my requested times!

I'm a little confused. I was informed today from a friend that you can make reservations now through June 3. March 1st is my 90 day mark, but June 3rd is the middle of my trip. I tried to tell her that it was because June 3rd meets the 90 days + 10 rule from today. She said that it didn't matter when your trip started, but you can book those days no matter what. Is that true?

I tried to call, but after waiting about 5 minutes I got cut off. The recording did give me the option to book May 26(I think) til June 3. I just don't have the patience to sit and wait today, so can anyone give me any insight?

I called on Friday and got everything I wanted, except for the Ohana breakfast I was trying to get for May 26th, I just called back and pressed '1' for the May 26th on option and I got right through and now I have it!

Long confirmation number tho lol:)

If you're staying at a Disney property you can book June 3rd by giving them your resort reservation number. If you not at a Disney property you'll still have to wait a few more days.

I called at 8:40 PM Florida time on Saturday and got all the rest of my ressies no problem. I even got a few tips on dining plan numbers to see what works out best for us based on the ADR's I made.

Issues booking past May 25th aside...

As of today, if you are staying at a Disney resort and checking in on May 24th, you can call and book ADRs for May 24th through June 3rd (at least as I understand it, for the +10 it really includes the checkin day, so its a total of 10 days in the window).

If you are not staying at a Disney resort, you have to wait for exactly 90 days (March 5th) to book an ADR for June 3rd.

One thing I am not clear on - does the +10 window "slide" with the date? That is, if I'm checking in on the 24th, and wait until tomorrow, can I then book June 4th? Or do I have to wait for 90 days for anything beyond the 10th day of my stay?

Will it still be 90 days advanced reservations when the new online reservation system starts? Or will it change back to the 180 days?
I am sweating this as I am due to book reservations March 15 and I hate being in competition with a kazillion other people. Plus I can never figure out the Disney web site. I have never been able to register for anything there or even make a reservation. Curses!:badpc: Who runs that joint?:joker:

The answer to my question is probably addressed somewhere in these 155 pages but please dont make me read through them all.:headache: Thank You.

Disney could always change their minds again, but as I understand it there are no plans currently to move back to 180 days.

I just got off the phone. Got both ressies I wanted. Wasn't sure what to expect, not much magic LOL, she was quick, polite, yet monotone. At least its done! We are trying two new places, The Wave one night for dinner and Fultons for my sons birthday dinner.

If they do go to an online reservation system just think about how much harder it will be to book a reservation. Currently one has to go through the trouble of calling and reserving or changing. In the future one person could set up multiple accounts using all members of the family and book many overlapping ADRs and then decide which ones to cancel later. With the current system each person would have to call, with an online system one can book that ADR in many different peoples names. If you find it hard to get an ADR now, think how hard it would be when this is implemented. I think it will be good for accomodations and recreation, but for dinning ADRs this may not be as good a thing as you may think.

Couldn't people do this now? I mean esp if you have 2 or more rooms booked? Or say you are staying offsite? I do agree though it would make it easier by eliminating the human element but Disney is probably trying to save a buck esp. in this economy .

Truthfully Disney and online systems have not always worked out so I would wait a while before using it when it comes out lol!

They could do this now, but people tend to have the feeling of safety behind them when doing things online. This is evident in the way some people talk to others on here every day, they would never say some of the things they do in person. One would be more likely to set up multiple e-mail accounts to circumvent the system than to call in multiple times for reservations. Once the human element is eliminated people become more brazen.
