Happy Taco Tuesday!

Yesterday my boss approved for me to go to a conference in Orlando in April. *happy dance* I'm staying at the Contemporary! *bigger happy dance*

The conference starts on Sunday, but I'm flying in on Saturday morning so I can go to MK that day. I'm having a hard time with ADRs (yes, I know I'm way past the 180 day mark). Side note: I do not want a buffet; I'm a germaphobe with buffets. I'm wondering if it's because I'm a table of one instead of a table of two. Do you think that matters? I've tried booking both ways, but I only have one ticket linked to MDX (or MDE; which is it now?).

Or maybe I'm just too close to get anything booked.

Thoughts? Stalk the cancellations?

Try booking for two, I almost always travel solo and have to book a table for two. They aren't going to penalize you if only one person shows up, there are very few (if any) one top tables out there so you wouldn't be taking a reservation for anyone else if you do it this way. I've also had a little better luck actually calling instead of trying on line. Also, waiting helps, table tend to open up a day or two in advance with other people cancelling.

Thanks so much! After scanning some other posts, I think I'll have better luck when the 60-day FP+ opens and the Friday morning before I fly out. Those posts say that a lot of the reservations get let go at those times.
