Additional Genie plus times added

I read somewhere, unfortunately I don't remember where, that additional times are added for LL on Genie plus at specific times throughout the day. One thing was additional SDD added at like 7:08am, but several more attractions at like 10:30 and 2:30. Can anyone confirm this, and if so, at what time of day are these added. This may a rumor, but thought I'd ask. Thanks

Yes, when I practiced getting the passes, more times became available at 7:08 and again at 7:17. Of course I didn´t see it happen when I was actually going into the park that day. Can´t answer for the other times.

It seems that some attractions do release more return times throughout the day. Some of the planning websites do have data supporting this.

My own uneducated thoughts are that they probably work in a certain amount of down time to the times, but then if they don't break down as much as expected, then they release more times....Kind of like how schools build snow days into their calendar.

I don't know as it is additional times added at 7:08am, as much as people starting to book then changing their minds, and the spots are held for a few minutes whilst it awaits you inputting your CC #.

7DMT sold out on 2/1 not too long after 7am. I looked at my tip board around 9:30am and it was available again to purchase. Jungle Cruise was also completely booked at 7am, then more were available an hour or so after rope drop. So there is some small evidence that more LL are released throughout the day.

7DMT being ILL people would have to cancel via Guest Services so it’s possible at park opening some people cancelled.

Jungle Cruise being G+ people could change their mind too and it’s easier to change it on the app.

Or, more times could be added.

I don’t know if times are added or if people change their minds but yes, i saw times pop up when LL or ILL previously said unavailable. Just last weekend, at around 2:30 I was able to get both TT and Remy for around 5:30, both had been showing unavailable for hours.

You can look at thrill-data analytics for a given ride to help answer the question. I can speak a bit from experience on Avatar FoP. If you look at the "Individual Lightning Lane Availability Map" chart for FoP you can see a vertical line of green squares at around 9:00AM. Not all days, but some days. That suggests FoP ILL$ availability sometimes gets inserted into the system around that time. There are similar lines around 11:30, 2:10, and 5:10, not all days, but some or even most days. So it might make sense to check the app for LL availability around those times. We got lucky with this approach.
