? about green DIS ribbon

My FH and I will be going to WDW in October. After visiting DIS since March, I know that people from DIS will wear green ribbon when they are in WDW.

Just want to know where I can get these ribbons? Also, why is the color lime green???

I'm not sure why lime green was chosen? Probably just because it was a color not taken by any other cause - such as pink for breast cancer, etc. There is no specific DIS ribbon location, just wherever or whatever you can find. I think most people locate it at a craft store. I had a lime green hair ribbon on a barrette that my DD didn't use anymore, I clipped that on my backpack. I have been 3 times and never seen a ribbon, so don't be suprised if you don't run across any. It's always fun to look though.

I see green ribbons every visit. I have green on my hip bag. I got mine at Ja Annes Fabrics, I have seen it at Michael's.

<font color=#0066FF>I got some curling ribbon from Wal-Mart. I think the color lime green was chosen because it shows up better in a big crowd. You can spot it easier.<font>

we got bright neon green ribbon at Hobby Lobby last year!

we need to go get some more but the ribbons are getting old!

I haven't seen any green ribbons in 4 visits. I really looked the first two times, but I probobly haven't been as diligent the last few. I had my family all prepared to lose me to long DIS conversations with all the DIS people I was going to run into while wearing my green ribbon... Oh well. Next trip!! Hope you have better luck. I will havemy ribbon on in a few weeks!! I actually got a Tink Dey chain (its really big) and I am gonna tie my ribbon to it and hang it either on my back pack or maybe my beltloop! (hubby will make fun of me the whole time But I dont care!! lol lol )

and putting abaldacci on mine and dh, dd, ds on my families. i don't know if family would like but we will see. i hope we will see some ribbons we will be there for discon 02 or the last few days of it

I got a lime green bookbag and it is on the back of my power chair. Also have lime green on the front of the chair and on my pin lanyard.
