Exactly. To me, it's part of what alienates me. I'm not what they intended to see their clothes on, thus they tend to look really bad on my body type.
Like I stated earlier, my local A&F (we don't have a Hollister) almost never has jeans over size 7 and I don't think I've ever seen an XL shirt from there.
It's almost like they're taunting me: "You're a size 11!!! Fatty! Look at our supposedly super sexalicious models and drive yourself to anorexia to be like them so you can wear our clothes!".
That's what I get from their ads, and that's alienating a lot of people.
But the other reason that I agree that they sell sex is that for a while they had thongs with phrases like "gimme some sugar" and "kiss this" in the pre-teen section of some of their stores. 10, 11, and 12 year old girls have no business wearing thongs in general.
