Abercrombie or Hollister

If you can't fit in the clothes, don't shop there? That's not really a reason to dislike the store. That's the choices the company makes, and obviously they do make great business out of it.

No, the point is the business is run by a bunch of superficial imbiciles. They ARE the reason why girls, younger and younger may I add, have self-esteem problems and eating disorders.
You don't have to like it, but that's truth.

Society plays it as A&F is "cool". They only make skinny sizes, so you have to be skinny to be "cool". Sadly, many teen girls want to be "cool" and do whatever it takes to be "cool". That's where your eating disorders come into place, as well as the self-esteem problems. Not only are the girls "not cool", but they're "fat".

Ehh I went through that phase when all I wanted to wear was Hollister A&F and AE. But now I'm more of the Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Kohls, and Wet Seal type of girl. Occassionally I'll get some things from Hollister or AE, but I really can't stand A&F. I use to buy jeans from there, but I realized they're a waste of money, because seriously I didn't even have a pair of jeans for 6 months and they ripped right in the crotch area...at school. :/ And another time it was right on my butt. I find the designer stores more for the middle school age kids, because they have to "fit in" and be "cool".

I shop at these stores because the clothes fit me very well.
My guy friends shop at Abercrombie Kids (they are 14, one is going to be 15) because they are really skinny, but they can't help that. So I guess its good to have those types of stores around, because my guy friend can't find any jeans in other stores that fit him well, so once he started going to abercrombie he found skinny jeans that don't fall down. Same with my bf. Finally. xD.

Hahah thats how I was in 7th and 8th grade.
I wore jeans from Abercrombie kids, and they actually fit me perfectly.

Mmmhmmm. What these companies are making a good business on is anorexia and bulemia. I went to middle school with a girl who was teased for being "fat" (a size 5! THE HORROR! OH, TO SEE SUCH A WHALE AT SCHOOL EVERY DAY!) and for not wearing the "right" clothes. She became anorexic so that she could better "fit in". Thankfully, she's now realized that she's one of the most gorgeous girls I know and has overcome her disorder.

I also don't shop at these stores. I dislike them for several different reasons other than the fact that they don't carry my size. And...oh yeah...sex may sell, but is it what you would want your child buying?

Even if we had these stores in my area, (well we do have one, but its like 30 miles away) I wouldnt shop there. I dislike their decisions on how to market their clothes and what type of clothing to sell. They seem to make it acceptable for kids to view sex as a perfectly normal thing for young children to do and be interested in. Young kids these days are becoming accustomed to sex becasue they see it all the time. Its on tv, its in the headlines. The last thing they need is to see it on their clothing.
