I'm trying to figure out which one would be best. Our AP (Florida) has expired, and technically we don't qualify for it anymore (our FL IDs have expired), so I did not renew it. I don't think we would be able to use the benefits of a full priced AP, but a AAA membership we could manage.

Are the discounts comparable? I got a quote at Coronado Springs for $145/nt May 30th - June 3rd at the APH rate....anyone know how much the AAA would be?

Thanks, Naomi

No, the AAA discounts run about 10-20%, depending on the season. The AP discounts are more. However, the AAA discounts are announced well ahead of time and for the entire year at once, which can make planning a lot easier than waiting, and waiting, and hoping that an AP discount will come out. I have both AAA and an AP (and a Fla Res too), and sometimes I use one and sometimes the other, depending on what's available and which resort I want to stay in.
