So normally Namath the pug gets me up everyday around 5am, so my body is used to early mornings. No different in Disney. I woke up early and got showered. Then hit the concierge lounge for some food. I started thinking that rope drop might be doable.

Maybe

If Kelly would wake up.

Though she may need some assistance

I had told her no wake up call today

And there was no wake up call

But did I say I would be quiet?

No, I don’t believe I did.

See today was our first trip to AK and she was looking forward to EE.

I would hate for her to miss it because we got to the park late.

I was thinking of her, really I was

I’m selfless like that.

So I may have made some noise that may have woken Kelly up.

On accident.

She grumbled.

I didn’t care.

The clock was ticking.

I had brought her breakfast back from the lounge.

I also called for our bags to be transferred to BC as we were resort switching today.

It took some prodding but she finally got moving and we headed down to the car about 8:45. I saw Rope drop disappearing before my eyes, but knew we would be close enough.

I got my traditional end parking space, yes the one at the FAR end, opposite of where the tram picks you up. Maybe a little of Karma visiting me?

We headed to the entrance and of course the rope had already been dropped. We headed for EE and grabbed us some FP’s and then went to Dinoland.

Let’s see we rode Tracy’s fav primeval hurl, and no I didn’t smell the handle bar. Then Kelly decided she wanted to ride Dino Dumbo, I have managed to avoid all these years. I guess I owed her.

She wanted Dinosaur, I explained it was, loud, dark and jerky. She still wanted to ride.

In the middle of the ride where it is pitch black I heard a noise.

A laugh maybe?

NOPE.



She got off and said it was too loud and hurt her ears. Her suggestion was that they add a volume control to it and she would then go back on.

I’m sure the imagineers will take that under consideration.

It was now time for our EE FP’s and I was nervous about the Yeti.
We were quickly boarding our train and pulling the lap bar down.
We took off and

SHE LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to get FP’s for KRR next before heading to ITTBAB.

Kelly gave me a dirty look after ITTBAB was over as I didn’t warn her.

C’mon kid I’ve been your Aunt for all your life, did ya really think I would warn ya?

After that we headed over to KRR. As we were about to board, who is getting off?

TRACY! And all her peeps. Her mother had the biggest Hello for me and let me know how refreshing the ride felt. T and I took the time to air kiss over the rope, and no pic of course we are Fockers.

Kelly and I didn’t get too wet, enough that it felt good. As TE said, it was refreshing.

Kelly had enough of AK (she had no desire to do the safari, which was fine with me, I’m sort of over looking for Little Red myself)

Now at this point I have a cut between my toes that is screaming, not sure where I got it but it’s where the post thingie is on my Croc flip flops, I need new shoes as I just can’t take it anymore.

After searching for anything in my size, I finally find these.

Kate does this make you feel better?

We were both hungry and the food options here just don’t appeal to me.
I suggested the nearby McD’s, Kelly was good with that.

I'd ride Safari over EE !! Kelly is BRAVE!! The kids ( including DD) didn't like Dinasaur either and I loved it !! Dark scary rides don't bother me ,it's the ones that spin you and drop you I can't take !!

great update. I don't blame you for making noise to get Kelly up out of bed. I make lots of noise so DH will get up and go get me my morning tea from the foodcourt . Unless it's all in 1 building like WL I make him go. Poly you have to walk outside in the dark in the morning and I don't want to run into any critters .

Anyway I loved the redneck ride photo! I'm hoping to get kaylee to give EE another try. She tried it when she was 6 and it scared the **** out of her. But is has been 2 years and I hate riding it alone.
