I am here at home wishing I was at your party...instead of in pain with a heating pad.
I woke up at 5am with a stiff and very sore neck. I have never had one this bad. I must have slept wrong.

Can't wait to hear about the Beach Party! The weather is PERFECT. About to head to Red Caboose Park for my DD's end of season soccer party. I was the coach... never played a day in my life, but boy it was a lot of fun. Lucikly, the 3 year olds didn't know if I was "teaching" them correctly. Ha ha.

I honestly don't remember if they did or not, but I know I don't want to come into contact with seeing if they have one or not!!
Oh, absolutely!! Chad will be on camera duty next time! If I can drag him in there! He is terrified of snakes more so than me. I can tolerate them, but its just the feel of the exhibit there. It really reminds me of the first Harry Potter when he goes to the zoo. Its so enclosed there and I always look down to see if there is a run-away snake!! If there was.......Heather would be hanging from the ceiling like tarzan!!

Well, at least now you know what they look like on the inside as well as on the outside.

Hollie's last day of school is next Thursday and they are having a beach party. I am so excited!!!!!!! They get to wear bathing suits and bring a squirt bottle of water. I know who she will be squirting first!!

Our kids wanted to bring bathing suits, but that's a no-go in elementary public school, so they just wore shorts and t-shirts and brought an extra change of clothing. They had much fun squirting each other!

We had a full day. They played hard and had a great time in the sand. Some of them have never been to a beach, so for them to get their hands in the sand and just feel it and shape it and scoop it was a big deal.

I like green beans just not the ones at Cracker Barrel. When I eat my leftovers at home (and there are always leftovers) I usually add my own green beans or peas.

That's good, because green vegetables are good for your....um, I'm not sure exactly what, but I know they're good for you and you're supposed to eat them. It's in the Mommy Handbook.

I'm envious of you getting out of school so soon! My school (work) doesn't get out until June 5. I work 12 months so it doesn't make that much of a difference except it's a whole lot more quiet without the teachers and kiddies around! We have a very small summer school this year (budget cutbacks) so we probably won't hear much from them

We have a small summer school, too, and it is much quieter having a small portion of our 600+ students. I know with summer school I work about ten months out of the year, but I can honestly say I am glad it's not twelve. I am spoiled to at least having July off and some decent holiday stretches.

I knew I wouldn't be able to hear it, so I didn't even bother to take it outside. Besides, with all the water guns, it would have been dangerous.

I was in the shade the whole time. I didn't take sunscreen, but I should have. With my history of skin cancer, I'm really supposed to avoid the sun at al costs, so I'm pretty good at seeking out the shade.

The highest SPF I've seen is 75, thank you very much.

I do try to be careful with the sun, because the surgeries are not something I want to repeat - especially the big one on my leg. That was slightly less than fun. Stitches, crutches, limping, missing lymphnodes, swelling...yeah, I'm pretty careful now!

We're glad you're here. It's hard to keep up with everybody, because there are a lot of good reports going on. There are especially a lot of great pre-trips going on that are just about to get very exciting!

No bingo, but they had a lot of fun. They shot each other with water guns for a long time, played on the playground, played with toys and video games they had brought, and then we cooked out. They're probably going to go to bed without a fight tonight.
