Good Luck today... it is exhausting all the end of the year tasks!
For the first year ever, I was actually a little ahead on my tasks!
Hope the last day of school goes well! I always liked the last teacher work day, so much got accomplished and I could work at my own pace.
I got as much as I could get done. We don't know what rooms we're moving to yet, so we have to leave our stuff in our room for now.
I hope you can get everything done today! I would love to be there to help you. Then we could go to Rainforest for a celebratory dinner.
It must be so excitting for you to be moving classes. You finally got your wish.
I'm still here...at home...resting...trying to not think about the lost wages this week.
HAVE A FUN LAST DAY!
You couldn't have helped anyway, since you're sick, so I'll take a raincheck on the offer!
RFC would have been a nice reward for all the work, though, huh?
It'll all work out. Try not to stress about the money. I stress enough for about five people, so I'll cover yours and you just relax and get well.
Memom
I hope your last day goes smoothly. It sounds like a very tiring day! When is your next trip? I guess it is getting pretty close now.
Jill is so sweet. I love cantaloupe and strawberries! Sound like a great gift!
All of the fruit was excellent quality - just the right sweetness. Jill is an awesome kid...girl...young lady.
That's so sweet of Jill! Edible arrangements are gorgeous and the fruit is always sooooo good. I had no idea that they had Mickey ones.
Congratulations on your last day! Have a great and relaxing weekend.
Look up Disney Edible Arrangement and you'll see it. It's the one in the red Mickey's Clubhouse container.
The fruit was excellent!
It sounds like you will have a nice, relaxing weekend. My mom came in from Atlanta. Tomorrow is Abby's first dance recital

. We are so excited. Then, taking my Mom to Franklin to eat at Puckett's (love that place) and to Tullahoma on Sun to see my DH's family. Monday, we may go to the zoo, if it is open and doesn't rain. I hope everyone has a safe and happy Memorial Day!
You guys have fun this weekend! I have heard good things about Puckett's. You'll have to come back and tell us what you ate there.
Today is their last day. They were sad this morning. Last night we picked up two Willow Tree figurines to give to their teachers as a goodbye gift. I will definitely share a picture of D's graduation. I'll try and get one uploaded tonight.
I bet they're excited now, though, aren't they? Do they get to stay up a little later and sleep late in the morning when school's out?
That was so sweet of Jill to send you an end-of-the-year treat!
Is it just me or do you find the post-planning days very anti-climatic? I always feel a little sad after the kids are gone, and the halls are quiet and empty. However, that being said, I am still doing a happy dance for the start of summer!!!
The halls were very quiet. A lot of teachers are changing schools and classes, so there was a lot of hauling away being done. Unfortuately, a couple of our teachers who were on waiver did not pass their Praxis, so they can't be rehired. That was kind of sad.
What am I doing this weekend?
Well today started off with me going to the dr. I got the throat infection that the little guy has.

That's what I get for taking his slobbery kisses and sharing food with him. Oh well. Tonight, B/F and I are going to Applebee's then to see the new "Night at the Museum" movie.
Tomorrow, B/F and I are going to his cousin's wedding.
Sunday, going with my family to a family friend of ours 1st birthday party.
Let us know about the movie. Sounds like a fun evening - except for the sore throat.
****************************************
Well, it's Friday, and I don't have a date...again.

So I'll post more of the trip and enjoy revisiting Disney World instead.
When we last left, we were here.
I wanted Kay to experience Primeval Whirl, but the wait was too long.
A lot of people don't like this area, but it is perfect for what it is supposed to be - a tacky roadside carnival.
Signs like these are perfect for the theme, too.
Note the one in the back that says
Going Out of Existence Sale.
Any store that is erupting with gifts is worth checking out, so we went in.
License plates.
I was born in one of those states. Anybody want to guess which one?
Jill, you can't play.
Toys.
King Kong captured the pretty woman.
Godzilla captured Mr. Potato Head.
An interesting new drink - Coca-Cola-osaurus.
Even in Dinoland, I can find bags.
Mickey shirts.
Quite an interesting variety of plush toys.
For the hungry dinosaur hunter.
How did these guys know so much about my bank account????
From a distance, we saw these guys greeting people.
Inflationosaurus.
Midway games.
An interesting place for a quick drink on a warm day.
Go 13!
Come on now, how clever is this game?
If you haven't ever checked this area out, at least give it a try just once. There are some interesting things to see, and it doesn't take but five minutes to walk around the entire area just to say you've done it.
And take it for what it is supposed to be. There is a whole big story behind it about a bunch of college kids digging for dino bones and then why this 'carnival' is right beside the big research center.
