Its the BACK SIDE OF WATER!!!!
Great pictures MeMom!! Small world is one of my very favorites!! Thumbs up to Brooklynn!!!
You are correct! I am sorry to say that there is no prize for knowing the correct answer, however.
Great Small World pics! All I have are a bunch of blurry pictures!
I

your narration of the Jungle Cruise!
This new camera did a pretty good job in Small World. I still have a lot of work to do on a few of the dark rides, though.
Well I knew the lion was fake but now you have done ruined two rides.
I'm sorry, but the truth about the safari animals had to come out sooner or later!
MeMom what did you mean when you said you don't see Nicole's green light? Is there a way to see if someone is on? I guess its the newbie in me.
It's supposed to be that the green light is on when you are logged in, I think, but it may just be when you have been recently active, because when
mama2girls answered you, she said my light wasn't on. However, although I was not literally on, I was still logged in, so I would have thought my light would have remained on, so that puzzles me.
Since I see that MeMom isn't on right now I hope you dont mind if I answer for her...

There is a little dot under your avatar pic to the left of your posts. If you are signed in then it lights up green. If you are off then it is gray. Just a little way for us to "spy" on ya...J/K!

Right now, I can see that you are on! HI!!!
I don't know why I was blue, because I never logged out. I wonder if after your last click on anything, it turns blue after a certain time even if you are still logged in. Oh well, it's really no big thing. Thanks for answering, though, and helping out.
Just wondering if Brooklyn rode POTC?

My son (5) has been begging me to take him on it but I also have a 2 1/2 year old daughter

who I worry would be too scared on it. I've ridden the ride at
Disneyland in CA but never in FL which we are tentatively planning a trip there in either March or May 2009.
Also wanted to say that I really love your trip reports and congrats on the new grandbaby to come.
Brooklynn did fine on Pirates. Up until this summer, she hadn't been scared on any ride. When she was really small, she was a bit unsure of the Carrousel horses.
The first thing she has shown fear on was Barnstormer. Jill and John wanted so much for her to be tall enough to ride it, and she was really not all the way up to the line, but the CM felt it was right at it, so she was waved in. I sat in the front of her and Jill to take pictures, and what followed was not a pretty sight. She never cried, but her face turned from
'this is just another ride' to
'what's going on?' to
'what are you people subjecting me to?' We have a sequence of pictures that will make you laugh and cry at the same time. Laugh, because she made it through and lived to tell about it. Cry, because during that one minute that ride lasts (if that long), she was as frightened as I have ever seen her, and I never want to see that fear again.
When we get to that ride in the report, I'll let Jill decide if she wants to put those pictures up for you guys to see. They break my heart and make me laugh all at once.
It'll be a long time before she goes on Barnstormer again. I think it's so odd that she was big enough to go on that, yet she couldn't sit on Soarin', which is so much milder.
Hi MeMom and family
I finally found my way over to your TR and am now caught up. Thanks for all the great pics and fun commentary! I appreciate the pics from Jungle Cruise, I have fond memories of this ride when I was little. I couldn't talk my boys into riding it with me this summer

, so sad!
They did however LOVE small world. Can I walk down memory lane a bit? I went on small world with my grandpa when I was little. Lots of people had thrown money into the water (my memory was that there was less this year then back then but that could be a fading memory too) Grandpa was always looking for and finding money on the ground when he walked. I clearly remember him telling me that he would clean the ride for free if they would let him keep all the change. I shared this with my family this summer and I am the only one who remembers this comment, very Grandpa-style!
Thanks for sharing all your fun, I'm off to work on your first TR while I wait for the next installment of this one!
Glad to have you here, and you can walk down Memory Lane with us as often as you'd like.
I'm sure that compared to all the many other awesome rides at Disney, Jungle Cruise seems pretty lame to your boys.
If you get through
Baby and the Tramp without thinking we're psychos, we'll be happy to have you stick around with us here!
I am behind... we had the IKE effect up our way.... in OH no power after horrible horrible hurricane type winds. Luckily my house is standing...but oh the trees. Thanks for bringing some Disney cheer!
I'm sorry to hear you had no power. TCKK had the same problem. I hope everyone is back to semi-normal.
Brooklynn has ridden every ride at Disney that she can (including Barnstormer which she just got to ride this summer). She only had a problem with Barnstormer but it has a height restriction and is very wild.
I have flashbacks about that sweet little face buried in your lap.
Hi Memom.
Finally made it back to your report. This has been some week for our family. Birthday party for Kerri (she's 14 now) on Saturday and then the windstorm on Sunday and no electric until 4:30 this morning. Went to the grocery after work tonight as we lost most of our stuff from the fridge. Now, I can have time to DIS
I enjoyed your pics of the Ice Show. I was considering getting tickets for the girls and me, but they were a little more than I wanted to spend. So, now I feel almost like I've seen it after looking at your pictures. Thanks for sharing. Brooklynn was so cute. She seem completely enthralled with the whole thing.
I loved the pics of Nashville too. I love Ryman Theater. I've never been inside, but I've seen it from the outside. I've also seen it on the Bill Gaither videos. He talks about going there to see southern gospel quartets when he was a young boy. That's my favorite kind of music. In fact I've been 2 Nashville twice for the Southern Gospel Quartet Conventions, many many years ago. They are now held in Louisville. Anyway, it was fun seeing Nashville again.
Also, I enjoyed all your MK pics.
Cathy
I love gospel music, too! I didn't know anyone but me even listened to gospel quartets anymore, but, I love it! I've watched many of the Gaither shows, and I am so uplifted my the singing.
Happy Birthday to Kerri!

I hope you were able to have a nice day in spite of the storms and the damage.
