Today its 2 weeks for me since we passed ROFR!!!! Hopefully closing docs come in today

I passed the same day but with The Timeshare Store. I still havent received my docs either. Closing is with Magic Vacation Title.

Our offer was accepted Jan. 27th,
It passed ROFR Feb 27.(Disney used all 30 days)
Not sure what is done between Feb 27th and March 14th.
We Sent our signed closing docs and full payment March 14th
We were supposed to close March 19th
Sellers Documents arrived March 20th
Today, March 25th, still haven't closed,
Today, March 25th I called, was told we closed on the 21st.


56+ days and counting.....

I'd love to share that info but I kinda want to give them the benefit of the doubt at this point. I haven't done a ton of research to see what the average days to have points available is going at right now.
We're 56+ days and counting....
It's our 3rd resale purchase and seems to be taking a bit more time than prior experiences.

After I posted I called the Sales agent to ask for an update.

I was told that we closed on the 21st, we didn't find this out until today. We also received an e-mail stating it could take from 14-28 days to have points available in the Disney system. Yikes.

I think many of us waiting on closing docs have been following this thread... I guess I have another week to go based on your timeline of two weeks (boooo)

I sent our closing docs and the bank draft with the payment to First American Title today via FedEx next day delivery

What happens next? How many days to close - will I receive an update from FAT?

and what is the wait time after closing to be able to get our membership #?

Passed ROFR on March 18th. I contacted the title company & confirmed Disney has not sent the papers. They typically send files over once a week but have not sent one in 3 weeks! Any thought on what is going on?

We passed ROFR on March 18th as well. Our agent immediately told us it would take 1 to 2 weeks to get the estoppel certificate from Disney before the closing docs could be created and sent to us. I've pretty much resigned myself to not seeing them until the full 2 weeks - April 1st. I assume this is just another way Disney can try to slow down the process.

We passed ROFR on March 11. Still waiting on closing docs. I followed up with the title company on Tuesday at the 2 week mark, and I was told they are still waiting on the Estoppel from Disney. Hoping to get the docs soon, all this waiting is the hardest part!

This is my timeline with Fidelity:

1/23/14 made offer
1/24/14 received counter offer & accepted same
1/30/14 mailed contract to Fidelity with deposit
2/3/14 sent to Disney for ROFR
2/28/14 received waiver of ROFR
3/5/14 received documents from First American Title
3/7/14 mailed closing documents and money to title company
3/12/14 received notice of closing
3/14/14 deed recorded
3/25/14 booked first trip (I called member services for the first time and asked for my membership number)

Total time: 62 days

Count me in too- have heard nothing! If it wasnt for these boards I would be blaming the title company

This makes me nervous... I had hope to have our contract all wrapped up by the end of May..
Our contract was sent to Disney ROFR on 3/25..

Considering it seems to be taking about 3 weeks to get closing docs due to the delay in estoppels from Disney, I am estimating my points to be available to me around April 29th. That's if there are no unforeseen delays in my seller returning the documents. We submitted our offer to Disney for ROFR on Feb. 24th and passed on March 18th. Guess I'm just stuck waiting it out.
