A question for the ladies

Ok, I was shopping with one of my girlfriends yesterday, and she wanted to go into Victoria's Secret to buy some undergarments.

She was having troubles finding things that would fit her comfortably. Have any of the women on here found that same thing with Victoria's Secret?

Now, my friend is really depressed and wants to go on a diet and she isn't overweight at all!

I had to go to the catalog to find my cup size and even that was difficult sorting through all the small sizes. I find Frederick's of Hollywood to be much better when it comes to big knockers.

I buy stuff from Victoria's Secret all the time but here's the weird thing--I'm a size 8 and I buy a Large in underwear, etc, to get things to fit comfortably. I don't think she should get upset at all about having a problem there.

I have a friend who says, "Victoria's secret is that she charges a lot of money for panties that are too tiny to cover my big old behind!"

I love their bras & their underwear....they are the most comfy I have found.

I can't fit into Victoria's Secret stuff either and I'm around a size 10. I also have never had a bra fit in there and they usually don't carry a lot of D cup size bras.

I really think VS is geared toward skinnier type women. I have much better luck at Fredricks of Hollywood and their stuff is usually more comfortable.

I haven't shopped there in years as well. They do not make larger cup sizes (above a C is hard to find DD is nearly impossible) and their cup sizes, I have found, run on the small size as well. So since they don't carry the a decent selection in sizes I need (especially *in* the store, catalog is a tad better), I go elsewhere. Fredricks is better on the larger cup sizes but the fabrics they use are too itchy to me.

I doubt it is your friend though... VS isn't a place for me to shop since very little they have fits and I wear about a 10/12 right now.

Ummm, exactly how big do their sizes go that you can't find one big enough? I've never had a problem finding a bra that fits me. I prefer the miracle bra or the one with pumps to give me ample boosoms.

I think they make pretty decent thongs too. But if she isnt bigger than a DD Fredericks of Hollywood would be a better place. If she is, PM me and I'll tell you where I shop online.

I'm like NMAmy--I'm a size 6 and many of VS's "medium" sizes are too small on me. I'm also a 36A in their bras when in most others I'm a 34A--yes, I'll admit that I'm an A-cup! (I feel Bob's sense of excitement deflating already! ).

I don't think your friend's alone in not finding a size that fits well, and I hope she doesn't feel bad about it.

The only problem I have with Victoria's Secret is paying $36 for a bra!! Yes, I'm cheap sometimes.

I have a hard time fitting a bra there too. I love their panties though. Used to wear Jockey's all the time, but like VS better.
DD loves their bras.

I wear a d size and find a ton that fits me. I have found that their different styles fit differently. For me second skin satin is the best.

We just got the "pink" collection for free and I didn't like the way they fit.

I love their bra's, but I am a b cup so it is easy for me to find one, but I am usually to cheap to spend that much money for a bra. As for the underwear, I find most of it to be too small for me (I'm a size 10 for now). I like full coverage bottoms so I usually buy my underwear in a dept. store.

I have the same problem.

VS does not have anything over a D cup in my area. If you are a larger (or blessed) lady, you are out of luck.

The panties fit well though. I have a Body by Victoria I got for free and it fits nice.

I just cant get any lingerie or bras there. One store is hideous, they only stock S and Xs. The other store has M, L and XL.

I 'm not near a Fredericks anymore, but the bra I do have from them fits well.
