We have a 3 night stay at BCV booked for July. It's at the end of our VB and WL vacation. We are using 42 borrowed points for BCV. Our use year is August. If a really good AP rate comes available I COULD be tempted to change our entire WDW stay to WL. I would definitely cancel before the 30 day window, but what would happen to the borrowed points that are used for this stay? Would they have to be used for a stay before our new use year starts in August or could I use them for a reservation for next June that I'm planning on making in late July? Thanks for any clarification you can provide.

Hi, dznyacct. Once you borrow points, they can not be banked, or returned to their original use year. That means you must use them by the end of this use year.

If you also used non-borrowed points for this, be careful-
You may also have a problem if you cancel your BCV resssie, as you might be past your banking windows (depending on when you cancel). Remember- May 31 is the latest you can bank for an August use year, and that is for only 25% of your total points.

Good luck....
