I'm excited to read another TR from you, and enjoyed sticking with the unofficial thread for Coronado - even while you were away.

How did you "rate" to get such a great bag from Coronado? Guessing it's the superb job you do "unofficially" to promote their complex.

The "KatMark" bag you received from your DIS friend is fabulous. It must have been a thrill to see it waiting there for you. Great friends!

Sounds like a great start to your trip. Maybe next time I can time it a little better to at least have a couple days of overlap hehe.

The painting at the CSR hasn't been too bad, but then again, my sense of smell may be somewhat dulled. It does mar the look of the resort a bit though, but I'm super interested in how they make the magic, more-so than just experiencing it.

At any rate, can't wait to hear more.

Considering I just had major surgery an out of the hospital yesterday, I'm not too far back in the TR readers pack! Looks like 2nd page, but maybe top of the 3rd - works for me just tine!

It is a perfect TR so far (love the cute title) - and very much looking forward to spending my recovery right here!

I only say that because I too am a terrible flyer. I have to seriously drug myself up now after one too many times of combination panic/motion sickness attacks. A terrible combination if I do say so myself.

Wonderful start, Kathy...
Danny loves Waffle House (I usually try to get him to go to Cracker Barrel), I don't mind as much now since you can't smoke. I love the hashbrowns smoothered and chunked w/grits and eggs...Danny usually does the whole thing on his hashbrowns w/a cheese and ham omelet...if I tell him this I bet we end up there this weekend.

So, happy to hear that the flight there was fast and uneventful!

OK... Here are my observations on your first post... and let me know when you want me to help you with the links.

$400 for the flights... not too shabby! I hate flying but you obviously hate it more than me! And I agree with Liesa.. AIRTRAN?????? At least you had a good experience.

You landed 20 minutes early and you had beautiful weather? SCORE!!!!!

So Waffle House was the lunch of choice? I've usually eaten there at the early hours in the morning 3-4-5am after leaving the clubs in Panama City. That was back in the good 'ol days.. Trash plates were the BOMB at that hour!

I'm glad you liked the Cabanas.. we really enjoyed the location of 8B.. close to everything! How awesome that you had a few treats waiting for you in your room... who am I kidding? LOOK at all that STUFF!!!!

How thoughtful of Karen & Tom.... nice bag too! Maybe I should get one that says 'that's nice' on it!!!! LOL
