Same here. I think it's nuts to jump the gun.I'll be watching too but I'll do mine from inside my home. I'm in no hurry to join other Texans.

You obviously haven't seen pictures or video from the beaches reopening today. You can see a picture taken less than 30 minutes after opening, there are HUNDREDS of people on the beach and in the water.

I am one of those people. I’ve been in pain for 5 weeks. Can only do phone appointments. My problem needs to be examined to be treated. I don’t know how much longer I have to wait.I don't really think re-opening medical procedures is jumping the gun. It's nuts that they were closed to begin with. People HAVE to be able to go to the doctor. I wonder how many people with medical conditions quietly got worse during the closure because their appts were deemed not important.

Thats nuts. My doctor would absolutely be allowed to see me if i were in pain. We met via telehealth because i didnt see the need to go in, but they didnt even halt bloodwork, i had to go to the lab for that.I am one of those people. I’ve been in pain for 5 weeks. I agree. I do not think ANYTHING the governor proposed is jumping the gun, and I am very cautious. They will continue to look at numbers before the do anything else, which if I remember correctly is the end of the month. So they can see if deaths and hospitalizations go up. I would expect positive numbers to go up with increased testing. The numbers to look at are hospitalized ( with number of beds available) deaths and ppe.I don't really think re-opening medical procedures is jumping the gun. My shoulder injury has certainly gotten worse. I couldn't have my follow up appt. with my surgeon, and all my PT was called off.I don't really think re-opening medical procedures is jumping the gun. Staff needs PPE for critical patients.Yes. If nothing else in Illinois, please allow doctor visits and elective procedures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, in many cases (im sure not all . . .) these decisions are being made by hospital systems, not state orders.Staff needs PPE for critical patients.
Staff needs PPE for critical patients.

We were/are highly likely to see it come back regardless..so don't blame people on that. It's already considered this way until a vaccine and even with a vaccine it could be seasonalI think we will see a 2nd surge in November.
A thing we're doing in our area seems to be printing various things with 3D printers. One of the local library branch a few of the employees have come back to use the 3D printer there to make face shields. My state is now going to be using 3D printers for swabs to be used in testing as we lack enough swabs. I know there are other companies that are using 3D printers and the like to make various PPE and testing items in the absence of an abundance of that.We have two weeks worth of PPE in stock and are receiving shipments daily.
