NOVEMBER Disney movie nights

Nov 5 - Toy Story 3 (Harper's pick) - Pizza Planet Pepperoni Pizza, To Infinity and Beyond breadsticks, Sheriff Woody sugar cookies

Nov 12 - Hercules - Greek Chicken Pasta, rolls, peanut butter cookies

Nov 22 - Pirates of the Carribean On Stranger Tides - BBQ chicken legs, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes

Nov 26 - Pocahontas - Thanksgiving feast "leftovers"...turkey, ham, dressing, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, corn casserole, rolls, pumpkin pie

We are having so much fun with the movie nights. The kids look forward to them, and so do DH and I :)

Following from another Oct 2012 pretrip report. We'll be there the same time as you. We also have 4 kids (with that 4th surprise baby!) but ours are much older. Our DS15 is also a goalie. He plays goalie on the school team but then plays on the field the rest of the time. He'd rather be in the field, but he's a much better goalie than anyone else they have so he gets "stuck" in there :)

I'm so jealous of you getting to stay at BLT! We'll have my mom with us so it makes it a little more cramped as we'd like :)

Welcome!!

I know we wont be in the room enough to justify the cost of MK view, but I know the kids will love it!

I saw a really cute Mad Hatter costume that I am thinking about for Harper. It would be cute to get her with a pic of Alice and Mad Hatter or Queen of Hearts.

What types of costumes are you guys thinking about?

We haven't settled on anything yet, just know that it has to be something that will travel easily! Knowing us, it will end up being something weird!

Welcome! Hunter was worried about not enjoying being goalie all the time, but he totally loves it. He likes being the only kid on the team who gets to play the entire game and never be subbed out. Ha ha, boys.

I went ahead and got that Mad Hatter costume for Harper. It was just too cute to pass up. So now, I just need costumes for Hunter and Jaxon.

Cant wait to hear what you end up picking.

314 days to go!!

The great thing about this time of year is just how quickly the months roll by because of the holidays. Seems like before we know it, it will be April and time for ADR's. My mind is just in overload getting through Christmas (and not buying everything in the world I see thats Disney). I really want to go all out in decorating for this Christmas, because I know next year we wont do much of anything besides put up the tree since we wont be here at Christmas. I'm just worried after the holidays are over that time will just come to a screeching HALT and move in super slow motion. At the same time, I dont want it all to go by TOO fast, b/c after these 2 trips, I dont know when I can convince DH for us to go back. We want to go on a Disney cruise, but not until Jaxon and Evan are 8/9-ish...so, another words...ETERNITY. I cant go 6 years without a Disney trip!!

I've purchased some really cute stuff after Halloween for the trip. I've purchased a few t-shirts for kids to wear one day at Epcot/MNSSHP and still need to get something else "Halloween-y" for the kids to wear the day we are at MK until we head back to the hotel for our mid-afternoon rest/swim. The kids will wear their costumes for one MNSSHP night, and the t-shirts I mentioned for the other night. I have pics of some of the stuff, so I will try and get those up and then get pics of the other stuff.

Time is definitely flying by but I'm thinking the same thing as you. January comes and bam - we hit a wall. At least Spring has Easter & Memorial Day and you know the summer will fly by. But I'm worried about January-March

I know...Jan, Feb...nothing. At least March brings Harper's birthday and soccer season will be back in full swing for Hunter. April/May is CHAOS with tons of stuff going on with school, dance, soccer, my birthday, wedding anniversary. Summer will fly by, then is all downhill :) So the goal...get to March :lmao:

We'll help each other through! :rotfl2: I think the October thread is going to be full of posts saying 'OMG, is Jan/Feb over yet??'

Welcome!

DH was kind of thrown off at the idea of moving to CR. He thinks its just really...well, ugly. I told the same thing, it was a very iconic resort. He's fine with the idea now and he loves the close proximity to MK & Epcot.
