$99 HP Touchpad

I've made it all the way to the checkout page on the hp website without it crashing on me, but now at this last final step, I keep getting an error message when I submit the order. If I keep going back and retyping in my credit card info, will I end up with 50 of these when the order goes through? I'm trying to order two of them.

This is the message I get when I hit the very last "submit order" button:

On my computer, I kept getting error messages before putting in CC info.

On my daughter's computer, she did not get an error message - it just went through. Of course, I didn't go any further at that point.

I would be a little afraid to put my CC in again if I got an error on the submit button. You could check to see if you have any pending charges?

This reminds me of trying to get a hotel room for $1 a few years back on Last Minute Travel................(I didn't have any luck then either)

Yeah trying getting any thing to come up on dial up... and I see no Lightening deal on my Amazon site...guess I don't rate it....there are 4 of 5 deals no touch pad... and I had that site up at 11AM mark. Same thing happened to me yesterday on Vera Bradley...by time site came up and shopped and went to cart everything sold out

Amazon showed nothing on the touchpads for me either.

I got all the way through just now, entered my credit card info, hit submit, got to the verification screen, hit submit, and.... whammo, page cannot be displayed. I don't want to do the whole thing again because there's not another $130 in teh account! If I don't get a confirmation email, I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to call.

I ordered the one online for $150 and got an order number at the end, but didn't write it down.... no email confirmation. GRRRR...

The order check page is getting hit hard too so keep trying. Yo just need your email and your password to get your order number and find out where it is in processing. The email confirmation took about 13hrs after I placed my order. Mine is still good but back ordered.

My nieces are getting older and love to read so I was thinking
christmas! One for my brother too! I am not 100% positive but somehow I ordered 6 (32GB) from HP. I got to the end with an order # then the screen disappeared. I checked my credit card and there is no actual charge yet but it seems theyvare "holding" the funds. eBay here I come! If this ends up true, is anyone interested in one? It's not an IPad but it's almost the same price as a kindle/nook...good for teens or travel! Contact me. Didn't get an email yet confirming....

Orders from Friday night are being cancelled by HP. I'm not sure what is going on. My order is processing and waiting for a tracking number, but I'm not holding my breath.

They just had the 32 GB on Amazon's Lightning Deal. I don't know how people get it to show up, but it's on another Lightning Deal screen, not the one with with gold Box next to it. The people on Slickdeals provide the link and you can find it that way.

Ok, I know that I should give up, but I just checked my order status and apparently it has 2 orders for me. One (the 32GB) could not be processed, but there is another one (the 16GB) that I "Attempted" to order last night that went through a little after midnight that said it was approved. I am thinking that the "hold" amount on my cc is that one from last night, not the one I did this AM.

Very interesting. If the 16GB did go through then good, and I can give that one to dd for her birthday next Sunday instead. We were thinking Christmas,but we will see.

Hopefully, we will get an email confirmation soon from HP. Again, BB went through with no problems.

Thanks -- after three tries I got that screen to load and it looks like it went through! It's telling me I ordered it in the future, though order time is 5:24 pm today. I think I was only able to get it (the 16gb version), not on back order, because it was in my cart since last night.

I looked in one of my browsers and saw the link from yesterday.. my cart popped up.. with three $99 ones in there I changed it to one for my sister.. and sent her the link. She didn't try it yet, but I also sent it to a friend.. she lives in England.. she got on it 1,2,3.. hit submit, entered her info and is now waiting her confirmation email on 1-16G from the official HP small business site... She had no problems at all getting thru.. no refreshing or anything.. I tried for my sister and could not do it.. that was why I sent her the link ..

I shoulda written down the confirmation number that popped up, but I figured I would get an email. I figured out how to check on orders on HP and I have none....

It took about 30 minutes or so for my order to show up online.... do not give up yet..... I still do not have an email but I show it processing and my CC has a pending charge.
