9 Family Members, 8 Days, 2 Cabins, Priceless

Everyone is being soooooo great about my 1st trip report!!! Thanks to you all. We arrived at MCO on Jan. 7th & flew out on Jan. 15. The only side of innovations we were able to get to was the side closest to Test Track & MtM, not sure which side that was, but we are looking forward to checking the other side out next time. At the campfire we did sit on the benchs, it was a monday night & there was plenty of room. I had brought blankets from home thinking I would lay them in the front for the kids to laid down, but they didn't want to, so we just sat on them (& covered up w/ them when it got chilly).

I would love the recipe for the honey lime dressing. I could suprise DMIL for dinner some time. That was the best.

Today was a sleep in day. So I didn't get up until 9am, which is as late as I seem to be able to sleep at WDW . The kids were waking up too & DH had not been feeling good during the night, so the kids got on their swimmings suits, we grabbed the dirty laundry & out the back door we headed. I left a note on the table telling DH where we went & the walkie talkie, so he could let us know when he got up. MIL, AIL, & FIL were already in the laundry mat washing their clothes. FIL watched the kids in the pool area while I started the washers. While the clothes washed & dried I relaxed by the pool & the kids had a great time playing w/ some new friends they meet at the pool.

The kids & I were enjoying the pool so much I wished I had left the whole day open, but I had told the in-law crew we would meet them at the bus stop at noon, so we headed back to the cabin. DH was up by now & we took turns folding the cloths while each other got cleaned up for the day. The kids were each doing their own thing, DD coloring in a princess coloring book she bought, DS10 chasing little lizards around the cabin, & DS8 was playing w/ his dinosaurs from AK. It was a beautiful day so I brought the bread, pbutter, jelly, oranges, & capri suns outside & we ate lunch on the picnic table.

It was time to head to the bus stop just as we finished lunch. So off we headed to the boat to MK. We got there about 1pm, took lots of photos (still trying to fiquire out how to post them) & headed for adventure land. While the kids & I were touring Swiss family's tree home, DH & the in-laws discovered a cute little trick to play on us. When we came out DSIL pretended to show us something interesting in the shop right outside of Aladdin's carpets. Just as she jumped away, we realized it was the exact spot the gaint camels sit on every few minutes . With DH & the in-laws very amuzed & the kids & I wet, we did Alladin's carpets, the Jungle cruise & PoC. It was then time for the parade...it was actually kinda late to be looking for a good spot (app. 2:50) & we didn't get a very good one. But the parade was still alot of fun to watch.

We then decided to do CountryBears & HM, followed by some shopping . After shopping, the crew was hungry. Pecos Bills is DH favorite place, so thats were we went. DAIL loved it too, as do the kids. I don't really care for it, but I knew DH would suffer through the Cantina for me, so I smiled & ate . I did have a problem w/ our Disney Visa rewards card here. I had used it the whole trip w/o a problem & suddenly it would not work. The CM asked me for something else to pay for it w/ & I told him I wanted to use that, it had over $190 on it yet, so it should work fine. The manager came over & told me I needed to call the company & talk w/ them to see what the problem was w/ the card. I said 1 more time that I didn't think it was a problem w/ the card, so she asked the CM on the next registar to ring up our order & try using our card. It worked fine. Needless to say I was very happy it was not a problem w/ the card.

We spent the rest of the night riding everything in fantasyland at least once & some rides several times. After the 4th time in a row on dumbo, DS8 was finally willing to head out. Wishes was getting ready to start & I wanted us to wait to see it until the next night. This was not easy to get the crew to walk & not watch wishes. I had reason for my madness, the next night was Spectromagic & we were going to watch it after the parade. Well we walked & they sneaked in some peeks & we left the front gates just as it was finishing.

Everyone wanted to so some more shopping & since they had agreed to a sundae at Ghoridelis, I went along w/ them to DTD. We went in every shop it seemed & then finally for ice cream. That was the absolute best Hot Fudge Brownie sundae w/ rocky road ice cream I have ever had the priviledge of making myself sick over. After eating entirely tooooo much at a table in front of a beautiful nighttime view of the lake w/ the lights of DTD reflecting off of the water...we went back to shopping .

Finally, around 11pm we headed back to the bus stop for FW. Everyone was exhausted & the next day there was a 7am roll call at the bus stop to head to MK. So as soon as we got to the cabin everyone hopped into their beds & were out, dreaming of Space Mountain & Wishes in the sky .

I just simply cannot believe that I will be having dinner tomorrow night at O'Hana's with 18 of my family members for our first night dinner in the World. Your description has me so excited!
