Here is a little and a that nothing else happens to him. I agree with the OP's on milking it for all it's worth with the CM's. He can have a lot of fun with this if he works it right

So who's packed??

We just got our Magical Express tags for our stay the night before and DW trip after the cruise, so I put all our documents (passports, birth certificates, tickets etc) together in a "travel" envelope. But that's about all I've done as far as packing!

Has anyone received their cruise documents yet? My TA told me ours are coming right to us, and should get here 2-3 weeks before we sail. Well that's pretty soon! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for an upgrade, but I don't really see it happening.

So what's the official countdown? Everyone's tickers are a little different. I guess it depends on when you leave home for the cruise and how you count down. I'm just going to say...one month away!

My ticker is for when we arrive at WDW. We are staying at the Poly for 5 nights before we board the Wonder.

My ticker is set for the cruise sail date. We are flying in the day before and extending in Orlando on the back end. Were going to visit the parks but with DH's back that is doubtful. We opted for a couple of nights at the Celebration Hotel in Celebration since it is our 25th anniversary trip. Just not sure what we will see or do while there now. It depends on how he is doing by then. We will be heading to WDW next year with kids so I guess I can wait until then....if I have to.

I have done nothing! The passports are on my dresser though. I guess that counts! I have a final exam to get thru before then; just can't think that far in advance! Oh, and I do have my sunscreen since it was on end of season sale.

Good idea on the milking the dog bite thing but by then it should be pretty well healed. I was surprised to see a bruise around it today.

I'm going to have to rent a U-haul just for my stuff.



I called Disney about my travel documents and they said what HLAuburn said, that we would get them in 2-3 weeks.

The only thing that can mess up my plans is if Animal Kingdom Lodge calls me and tells me that I have to move to another resort. So far, very few people have been called in September but you never know.

Mustachspot- that was very generous of you to think about brining those glow tubes. I don't think I'll need any but I will keep it in mind. When would be the latest that you would need to know and how much would they be?

I still need packing help! I have to pack for our trip before the cruise, for the cruise, for our DisneyWorld trip and for the week after Disney when we go to the beach areas.

I'm going to have to rent a U-haul just for my stuff.

How long are you guys going to be gone?? Our trip is 10 nights, and I thought we were going to have a lot of luggage, but I think you will have us beat! It's probably a good thing that the airline and DME only allows 2 bags per person! Now if I can just keep them under 50 lbs each!

I called DCL today to ask about checking in at the resort, and at the end of the call, the CM said "See you soon!" - I about cried! I'm such a dork!

I will be bringing them anyway, no charge. They come in tubes of 100. I was thinkg orange, for pirate night, but I could bring other colors if anyone has a preference.

My packing consists of putting all my planning materials into a binder, I have printed out recent navigators, dining men, all my reservation info, and the DIS tips. What do I need a suit case for?

We just got the passport for thie kids after having to call our congressman to move things along. So after a hectic day today I was doing a little Disney dance about the passports.

Right now our trip is 25 days. It all depends on if all the right things come together for the start of the trip but the shortest the trip will be would be 19 days.

I am sorry guys if this paragraph offended anyone. I was informed it was not an appropriate thing to say. All I was trying to do is be funny, I guess it wasn't.
Anyhow, I hope everyone is doing okay. Laxmom, tell your husband that you forbide him to get any more injuries. Seeing has how it is an anniversary trip I am sure you can threating him with holding back certain presents if he hurts himself any more.

That's a looonnnnggg trip! Sounds great! I just hope my little girl can handle 10 nights away from home!

Who informed you that it was inappropriate? You clearly were just referring to not buying him SOUVENIRS if he keeps getting hurt, right? People must be reading a more into it than you intended. Anyway, no offense taken here!

I will have to scan it tomorrow, but the gist is Dory, Nemo, and Little Dude, At the top I have put es-cap-e (pronounced es-cop-a) and then our names and Family Cruise 2007.

I am still thinking of other door sign ideas because we will have three cabins total.

I had the most horrible dream. We were on our cruise, I wake up and it is the last day and we have done nothing. No kids programs, no dining rooms, and just enough time to book our next cruise. AAAAAH!

I'm tired of waiting, just let it be here already!!!

Packing....... Well, I am putting that off to the last minute. Seriously. I can justify 3 outfits for a single day on vacation. If I pack at the last minute, I won't pack as much and still have more than enough clothes.

Who has received their documents yet? Have any of you filled them out online then printed them off?

I am planning of making copies of the front pages of the passports to carry with us off the ship for identification purposes, or do you think I should leave the copies in the room safe and carry the passports with us? What are ya'll doing?
