Hi DISers,
Finally got in to book Palo brunch, spa, and excursions

As it turned out, Carlisle Bay is CLOSED during September and October (that's kind of scary... like they don't even want to have guests at the resort during the high-hurricane season--are they expecting the worst?)
So all of those DISers going to Pineapple Beach Resort, I'm with you!!!

I made reservations this morning. We should have a great time, since it seems there will be quite a few of us there.

Thanks for the tip!!!
Also called TA to see when our stateroom might be assigned. According to
DCL, they have not assigned the "guarantee" categories yet. Our TA said that is a good sign because our group (a friend from work has four more cabins linked with my res) has more than half of the cat. 12s on the ship, but they are sold out. She said they will assign upgrades based on when you booked (we booked Aug. 2005). That should mean we will have no less than a cat. 11, but could be much higher

. The bad news is we may not know our cabin numbers until two weeks before we sail. But I could do with a pleasant surprise, since I've NEVER had an upgrade in 5 DCL cruises.
Here are our cruise plans: (Let me know it they match any of yours!)
Palo (brunch with DS): 10 a.m. Thurs., Sept. 14
St. Thomas: Shoretrips --St. Thomas Funpack on the Beach (where oldest DS will be doing the 2 tank SCUBA dive)
St. Lucia: Caribbean Pirate Extravaganza (grabbing drinks and lunch at The Limet if anyone wants to join us?)
Barbados: Still open for suggestions---any thoughts? We might do a cat trip with Shoretrips or something on our own. Would like to find a good spa or another day pass at a resort, if possible.
Antigua: Pineapple Beach Resort Day Pass with my fellow DISers!
Castaway Cay: Race ya' to a hammock.
I'm really getting excited now!!!!!
