DisneyGirlTinkerbell, we have Palo brunch on the same day as yours but we made it for 10:30. I am sure you will still be there when we arrive. We will also be at Pineapple Beach with you.

Had a terrific dinner tonight with some DISers. Managed to stay awake but boy has it ever hit me now.

Is Pineapple beach on of the excursions listed w/dcl or is this on your own?/ I didn't see it mentioned, but it had several "beaches" without the names.

Tigger - We are also going to pineapple beach. It is not a DCL excursion, but you do need to contact the resort in advance and make a reservation. It has gotten excellent feedback from Cruise Critic and others I have spoken to who have been there before. Heres the link that lists the options for the day passes.

What are people doing in regards to Palo? Brunch, Dinner or tea?
We are planning tea and brunch.

Right now I have us at Palo for Brunch at 10:30 on Sat the 9th and Palo for dinner 7:30 Friday the 15th --- DH asked me to make our Palo reservations for one of the Formal nights so that he doesn't have to get dressed up anymore then needed.

I'm sure we'll add more times once we get on the ship.

We have booked Palo for our anniversary 9/11 at 7:30 and brunch at 11:00 on the 15th. I have only booked rays stingray at CC. We are looking into Pineapple Beach, as well. At St Thomas, we are going to take the tramride. In my 3 trips to St. Thomas, everytime I say I'm going to do that and I don't. So this time, we agreed we are going to take the tramride. My DH just wants to walk around the shops/etc, as we haven't done that (I have, before meeting him). We have some spa treatments booked, as well.

What exactly goes on on pirates night??

That is our anniversary and we have reservations at Palo. Needless to say, I wouldn't cancel our anniversary dinner for it, but what goes on at night, after?? Will DS miss a lot in dinner?? We can still take him to regular dinner that night, but I figured nothing would be going on as we are in port til like 8-9pm.

Actually, the main event for Pirate night is AFTER dinner so you won't miss much at all.

I haven't been able to log on since Friday for some unknown reason so I've a little bit to catch up on!

As I've said before the booking of reservations was a little more sociable for me in the UK because your 03:00am was my 08:00am but like you, I couldn't get in on the reservation system either so I gave up at 08:30 and went to work.

I continued to try to get into the DCL site throughout the morning with mixed messages but dead on 13:05 I got in and made our Palo brunch reservation for 09-Sept at 11:00, our excursions, and childrens club for our DD - very easy and very straightforward - and no sleep lost!! My sympathies for you who stayed up late in the night.

I was so pleased I decided to take a half day off and left work at 13:30.

The only thing we've got left to do for our four week holiday to Disney now is book our car parking at Gatwick airport in London. I've put it off so many times already the price has nearly doubled so here goes!

I am trying to get through reading this thread, but am only up to page 10 Anyway, I am looking forward to getting to know all of you.
