8032

We stayed in 8030 and met the people in 8032 and saw their room. It is one of the best on the entire ship. What a great suite !
This room will make a terrific vacation even better.

thanks for the input, we have a 5 yr. old (early riser), 4 yr. old(late riser) and a 13 month old that still wakes up in the night so we thought we should get the suite. do you know if the concierge service also will book flounder's reef for us?
thanks - it's our 1st cruise and we can't wait.....

book flounders on your own. it's a liability thing. you have to sign forms and all.

however, that said, when we went 3/9, there was a counselor from the oceaneer's club at the concierge meeting upon boarding who allowed us to sign all the forms there (in sessions) rather than having to go stand in line outside the club. we were able to sign up our boys for both the club and the lab. we are (finally!) past needing flounders so i don't know if they have someone from the reef there to sign concierge guests up.

Hello - my brother & his family had 8532 on the 7/7/01 cruise, which is just on the other side of the elevator lobby. It is a fabulous cabin with a triple wide veranda, the pull-down bed is in the sitting room, and you'll have lots of space. Be sure to request a pack&play for your little one, and ask the steward for a diaper genie when you arrive. They can also bring a high chair for you. You'll be able to order more stuff from the room service menu, esp. hot breakfast. You'll have stereo equipment, including a cd player & VCR + 2 TVs.

For Flounder's, get there ASAP on the 1st day of the cruise. I got there at 1:40 that day & got all the slots I asked for, for my 16-mo old. The concierge will not set this up for you, you have to go yourself.

Hope this helps!!

One word of warning...

If this is your first cruise, it will RUIN any chance of you ever cruising with anyone but Disney! :)

Disney's "regular" cabins are larger than most, if not all, other cruise lines - and their suites - VERY nice!

Forget about ever trying to go on a Carnival cruise (AH! He said the 'C' word!), or any other line for that matter, for fear of feeling as if you are staying in a broom closet. (Unless of course you can book a category 1 grand suite with them!! Cha-Ching!!)

Seriously, you will have a glorious time, but you are indeed starting at the
top. I only comment on this because I did things similarly and now each year I struggle to find ways to improve our vacations!! Spoil 'em early, and you're in big trouble! ;)

I am to the point now where I am trying to figure out how to get us into first-class on the Space Shuttle! (Does Disney have a theme park on Mars yet??)

ENJOY

I'm in 8032 on the 8/24/02 sailing. When are you sailing?
