I don't know about you Andrew but the David Beckham farce is ridiculous. I've never been a fan of his or his matchstick wife but this is going to far.

What will he NOT do for money- Surely he has enough now, next he will be an MP PM who knows? The only thing I could wish for is for him to go in celebrty big brother and kill off his career,

He would never go into Parliament or politics as he could never make enough money out of it. However, Celebrity Big Brother sounds a good idea........he could end up being "Jaded".

My grandson is excited about Beckham, and will try to see him if he plays anywhere near here,but I don't think she will get the media attention she got in the UK.Wonder if she can handle it.Personally, she looks like a self absorbed airhead.Never saw what the attention was all about. But then most celebrities are.........

Anyway, off to work.Hopefully they won't be too bad today. January, where I work is a rough month. People are just plain nasty. Has to be the after holiday crash. Wish me luck

I hate it when my dd is sick, I just feel so helpless.

That's how I feel, usually mom is home when Angelina is sick and takes care of all her needs, I'm usually just a backup, or errand boy. It appears the fever broke over night, which makes me very happy!!!

My dd talks a mile-a-minute, so when she is quiet I know she isn't herself.

Angelina is the same way, she hardly spoke at all yesterday, actually, I think she did more moaning than talking. About the only thing I remember Angelina saying yesterday was, "Dad, can you take me to the hospital?" That's when I got on the phone with the doc's office, he called an antibiotic in right away.

I go away for 12 hours and come back to 5 pages of notes!! You all are going to make the wait until next August a blast to say the least.

I sure hope that everyone on DIS that wants to do the August 17th makes it through the phone lines or web on Wednesday. We have our cruise for November all ready transferred to DU so that they can do their magic on Wednesday. Hope it just isn't too much. Might have to forgo the veranda for this one but hope not to have to. Like someone said early on just give me a deck chair and blanket and I will be fine.

Quick question for those that have done a repositioning cruise in the past...how does one pack for 2 weeks??? We have never had a vacation this long and sure hope this will be the first!!!

I'm also trying to figure this out.
I've already decided I'm going to end up paying a fee (either with the airlines or DCL) for being over the baggage limit.

Hazel said we will probably pack for one week and do laundry on the ship. We usually doesn't like to do laundry while on vacation, but this time we might not have a choice.

Aren't there 875 staterooms? and it appears 93 different individuals have posted "interest"...if each were to average one cabin, wouldn't that be about 10% of the ship? It's going to be crazy Wednesday.
