I have always liked Harry. I have seen him in concert 5 times and every time he gets better and cuter!

Karen

:love: Totally agree!!!::yes::

WOWEEEEEEEEE Sooz thanks ever so much for posting such a great picture of Roger!!!!!

You are very welcome!!!

Okay MR. Who is that hunk????:confused3 :cool1: How do I not know who he is???

:wave2: Roger Howarth. He's a fantastic Soap Actor. Started on Loving, then went to Guiding Light, then His breakout role as Todd Manning on One Life to Life and for the past 4 years as Paul Ryan on As the World Turns. I know, more info than needed. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

:rotfl: I found out a few months ago that one of my very good friends still had dial up AND was paying for a second line for the computer! :sad2: I forced her to get DSL! LOL! She is very glad that she listened to me. :rotfl:

Cheryl knows I love her and we are allowed to tease each other. ;)

I wuz teasing too. And I do agree... IF a 2nd line is supporting a dial up account - that would be the wrong approach. I recall the days when we had dial up... yeowch! And since then having tried DSL and now settled with a cable modem... now my ebay sniping has taken on a whole new meaning!

<chuckles>

Isn't that a nice feeling????:cool1: :cool1:

Which job does Angelina like the best???:confused3 I am curious if she picks kids over clothes.;)

The kids won out over the clothes already.......

Angelina said she really didn't like working retail, said the job was just too boring for her, so she left the job at the Deb, she likes the faster pace action at B-a-B much better.........:) At least she did get a few items at discount the short time she was at the Deb..........;)

I'm really trying to be good too, but I keep finding excuses to be bad. :rolleyes1

Me too, but I go for both..........a piece of cake with a couple scoops of ice cream on top, then some Hershey's chocolate syrup to top it off, yum! yum! :goodvibes

Hi -
Just popping by!

Has anyone used a money belt when travelling? I got my silk undercover moneybelt today from ebags. Passport, train tix, airline tix & money all fit and it's still quite flat. Maybe I should wear it around here before I leave to test it!

BTW - Roger - that's a great pic of you & your girls.

Check back later.

I've used a money pouch that hangs like a necklace and my spouse has used a money belt. I like the belt on her as I ocassionally have to fish for change through her money belt... sometimes itt takes me a while to get what I'm looking for... :goodvibes

So true, when we lived in the Philadelphia suburbs, other than one visit to the historic areas when the girls were young (Independence Hall, Betsy Ross House, etc.) we only went when we chaperoned school trips. We should have made and effort to go into the city more. We were only 2-3 hours from NYC and Washington DC and we didn't get there often enough either. Oh well, regrets don't solve anything I guess I should just learn from my past mistakes and make an effort to get to know my new home state better.

Barbara

Barb--don't feel bad, I'm only 10 minutes from Philly and I only go there when I "HAVE" too. I'm not a "Big City" type of person, only been to NYC once, that was during a high school field trip with my art class..........

Does this pup have an attitude or what!! Love it!

so Queen L was nice last nite. Although sh had a longish warm up act - and thus a relatively short program - I thought several songs she sang were simply beautiful... including my favorite of the evening: "California Dreaming"! The photo above was NOT from last nite - as I don't have pictures since I took no photos last nite. Actually the image above was from last years' sound of music performance. Hopefully I'll get to picking up my compter tomorrow or friday!

I gotta go now - i'm really sleepy!

well there was a reason you hardly went to them places because they suck.
lets be honest. i live in southern new jersey its been about 3 years since i been to nyc and around 10 years since i been to DC. now you live in beautiful florida of course you want to get out, its a beautiful state.

I just bought dixie cups for the kids visit. That way I won't sneak their ice cream. I can't resist Publix's Raspberry Roadrunner Yogurt. I knnow every says at least it's yogurt. We started with the same flavor in their ice cream then switched over to the yogurt because it was better for us. But I can't have it in the house. Being a hour and a half away from WDW, at least I'm further away from Ghiradelli's than you are. I don't think I could live so close and resist the urge to visit too often.

Barbara

Did you say "GHIRADELLI"? I would go to DTD every night to get my "Ghiradelli".(I would say to myself, I am on vacation so there are no calories! YEH RIGHT!!! When I got home and on the scale it did not agree with my reasoning!!

NJ here also. But for work requirements to travel to NYC and DC, I would avoid them as much as possible....

Hi -
I admit I procrastinate - but for anyone planning on losing weight - getting in shape - etc. for the TOAL - get started. Oh - I'm really talking to myself - I was keeping my work-out schedule sporatically - so now I'm leaving in a month & am kicking myself for saying - oh I've got plenty of time. Ha - and spandex in August won't work. Well, I'll see how well I can do in a month.

I did give up on the weight loss until I am back from Foodalot. No sense eating less when there are ADRs for all of the wonderful places in the world. Gotta stay in shape for that ! ;) and then when I am back, I will get real REAL serious about losing weight for the TOAL> :rotfl2:

You are very brave..... I am on our 3rd teenager.... I rode with the other two and it looks like I may have to ride with this one.....One of my dearest friends works at a driving school and I think I may convince her to ride with my dd -- luckily my dd is her dd's best friend! LOL!
I am very disappointed in the driving school, i had really thought that they taught the kids to drive but my mistake.. They fulfill the State of IL requirements for class hours and the driving is just part of that too. It is up to me to really teach him  plus he told me that they don't cover Parallel parking??

:rotfl: I found out a few months ago that one of my very good friends still had dial up AND was paying for a second line for the computer! :sad2: I forced her to get DSL! LOL! She is very glad that she listened to me. :rotfl:

Cheryl knows I love her and we are allowed to tease each other. ;)

Dial up is SSSSLLLLOOOOWWWWW. I have DSL but it is okay not very reliable at times. like when it rains..

Okay do not laugh:rotfl: but it does take me one hour to walk 4 miles at a 10% incline on my treadmill. I could never bike 20 miles a day like you do.:sad2: Walking is easier on my knees.:goodvibes

Not bad really that is a 15 minute mile..

He probably won't have very many. STs are pretty resiliant.

Yeah but what about me.. how many gray hairs will I get before this is over??

I had DSL a few years ago (when AOL provided it through SWB) but it was so unreliable and had poor customer service. :surfweb:

Yep what he said..

Every day I say I'm going to start tomorrow and then that ice cream monster jumps up and then I'm telling myself - you can start after this bowl of ice cream. The worst part is I lost the weight in 2006 and put it back on in 2007. So now tomorrow I'm going to start the Grandma Diet. Both daughters and the two grandchildren (2 & 4) arrive in Florida for a month. I'm hoping chasing after then will kick start this weight loss. All I have to figure out is how to resist the ice cream - for some it's cake -- for me it's ice cream.

Barbara

Ice cream is addicting. I need some everyday.. I looked into the ice cream diet but it was only 1 small bowl each day.. My problem is portion control: I think that a half gallon is a single size seving.. Taught my kids to eat out of the carton.. yep each memeber of the family has their own carton.. ;)

There is something about the cold creaminess of good ice cream.I can pass on the cake for a nice bowl of ice cream..

YEP me too...

Hello All,
Happy Belated :bday: :cake: to those that I have missed.

Just thought I would mention this...............Brooke had her doctor's appt. the other day for school. She was given 4 shots !

First time meeting new Doctor and she said Brooke would need Hep. A shot due to upcoming cruise. She goes back in 6 months for the booster.

She also recommended getting " Florastor " It's over the counter and taken twice a day while on the trip prevents you from getting sick. Especially if eating any local foods.

Just thought I would pass this info, along. When DH & I went on our double dip cruise there was alot of talk weather or not to get the Hep. A shot. We did and I already had my booster done. DH didn't get the booster.:sad2:
