No Kristina not that one. I wanted the Las one orignal but now we are going on our own to Krystal.

I think we're going to go to Krystal also. We're booked on the Paradise Village Beach Resort excursion, but I've heard Krystal is just as nice and much closer. :thumbsup2 We're just looking for a nice place for the kids to swim and have fun.

That is so me! LOL! If it can't be bought online I;m pretty sure nobody needs it. ;)

I am sure the tiaras will be back in stock soon. It's just been Prom season so, I am sure that is why they are out!

Coral, dd used to work at the AT @ Stone Briar. :rotfl:

I would be at Cheesecake Factory every day and for my break I would go to Cinnabon. :rotfl:

I just really do not know what to do about Acapulco.
On one hand I think that could have been us if we were born in a poor country. Thank God we were not and I hate to not support them since they do live in such poverty and are just trying to provide for their families, like we are too.
But... it will be hot, we do have to get up early and I would save $170.00 + tip.
I am going to have to think about this one.

After reading more about the Acapulco excursions, we're about 90% sure we're cancelling too. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem like there's much else to do there with a 6 year old. We may just jump off the boat for an hour or so and not do anything. It's just a shame with all of the sea days around Acapulco. If I'm going to be "trapped" for 5 days, I couldn't think of a better place! :cool2:

The only other excursion I even considered was the beach excursion since we could all go. However, a lot of the Acapulco reviews mentioned how pushy the locals were, even on the beach. Not sure I want to spend all that money just to be hassled.

How many of you ladies have talked your Better Halfs into wearing a "Monkey Suit"?
Kevin says he will if he won't stick out like a sore thumb.

My chuckle-heads and I will be wearing Monkey Suits, and it sounds like we won't be the only ones.

DH with all 5 of our children . :goodvibes

Great picture Steph!!!

QUESTION????

What are the men wearing for semi-formal night????? :confused3 :confused3 On our 10 Wonder Cruise.......everyone was dressed just like formal night!!!:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

I'm debating the tux for semi-formal night to save on packing space, but I'll probably go with a suit or nice sportcoat.

Hi Shannon,

I've also been reading all the negative reviews of the Cliff Diver tours in Acapulco. I think we're going to cancel. It isn't worth the money (~$250) or the aggravation to do this one. On top of that, I wasn't too thrilled about having an excursion start time of 7 am! :scared1: We'll probably either visit the Fort on our own or just stay on the ship that day.

Kim

That was my first thought, but unlike the European cruise, we're spending a ton of time on the ship - I figure it will be nice to get on dry land. Even if the excursion is awful, we'll see the cliff divers and be back in time for lunch. We'll bring books to read just in case.

OK i'm jealous...I've never gotten to jury duty...Been notified once but got excused the night beforehand...

Once got to spend 3 days sitting through Jury selection. I got called up, questioned, and dismissed in about 5 minutes. I think one of the attorney's didn't like the fact that I watch Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert....

Come to think of it, given my sense of humor, if I was an attorney I wouldn't want me sitting on a Jury either :rolleyes1

I just read what I could on Acapulco...I am so sad to miss the cliff divers but can't see spending the money. I called my Mom to talk with her about it...all she wanted to see was the cliff divers and a tour of the city from a bus but it's not sounding good. I am alsohaving trouble distinguishing the two cliff diver excursions when people post but so far no one has much good to say about any of it! Also..i am concerned about my mom sitting in the sun for to long.

I think I am ready to cancel for my immediate family but need to see what Mom and my Sister want to do...how disappointing!

Acapulco

This is the email that I received back from Roberto at the Port Authority in Acapulco

The local tour operator will arrange a special show for ship arranged tours, just check what time the tour leaves and add another 20 minutes so you can view it on your own. Tour operators don’t share the information, but, that’s how it usually goes. I am almost sure if the tour leaves at 8am, then the first show will be at 08:30 am

If it were just DH and I, we might do the same thing. But since we're traveling with our 4 kids, the youngest two being (almost) 4 and 22 months, I really think we'd be better off skipping this one. The sure thing to make a bad excursion even worse (at least for DH and I) is tired, bored, whiny kids! :( The only thing I wanted to see was the Cliff Divers...DH could really care less!

I suggested closing the laundry from 1am till 8am. They said they were considering this for the East bound sailing.

I hope not. That when we always do our laundry. Also there will probably be line in the hall ways to do laundry all day then

Have to say that I am in agreement. My parents and I really wanted to see the cliff divers and were willing to go on a city tour. However the reviews I've read, I'm thinking it's not for us. We're not big shoppers and the tour doesn't sound like anything we'd be remotely interested in sitting through. I am really disappointed . It's really too bad to be on the ship for so many days in a row, but I don't think the tour and divers excursion is a good investment of my time or money. Just my $0.02.

That's the same information I've seen him consistently post on multiple boards. I'm pretty sure that's right on since the DCL description of their tour mentioned a 2 hour city tour after the Cliff Divers.

Also, I think the diver show that the WB saw was not the typical one. Especially since there was a film crew there. That probably threw off the whole routine.

I keep thinking of how many Shutters photos I could buy with the money we'll save! :rotfl:

So they are announcing that DIS Chat is back. But they are limiting the hours and you can only be in when a moderator is in. What are we going to do? Join until they kick us out? Or just go to Pirate Chat?

Well, since we've already established the fact that the bishop does not DIS, he'll never know that I'll accept the date should you not be able to get the private room brunch! :)

Thanks.

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

This is exactly how I felt about Nassau!!

We like Nassau -- we love Aquariums though! And go the all over the country!
I've done the Aquarium twice w/ 10ds & 17dd. Dh & 6dd have done it once -- they did the Dolphin thing on our first cruise.

I would be at Cheesecake Factory every day and for my break I would go to Cinnabon. :rotfl:

Add in *go to the Disney Store* and that sounds like dd's day!! ::yes::

Great picture Steph!!!

Thank you!

That is my feeling. I did specifically choose the one that supposedly was without shopping.....

It won't be nearly as hot for us since we will be there in the morning.
