Yes in the mail today, I have my Disney tickets, but no not for Disneyland California, or the cruise, but for Paris.

I have my Eurostar train tickets, so now just a few weeks to say bonjour Mickey!

as a "strike" against her - she was "busted" last October in Idaho for a number of misdermeanors related to driving under the influence of a mind altering substance. Her car smelled of "weed" to the peace officer and she blamed it on some imagined hitchhikers who were smoking something strange.

So...just to start a topic of conversation...what are everyone's plans for Mother's Day this weekend?

We're going camping. It's KOA's free camping weekend. Pay for Friday, get Saturday free.

Y'know - we could just post a group day-by-day trip report. Each of us then could add their experiences for that day. It would give other DISers a multiple POV trip report...

Well, we're now on day 3 of not having access to our onboard reservations. I keep calling the supervisor to make sure that someone is working on the issue. She assures me that they are, but I have to wonder. She has been really nice, and keeps offerring to check things for me, but that's really not the point. I don't think she truly understands my OCD need to be in control of my reservation. She's supposed to check with the IT dept and get back to me after 3:00. We'll see what happens.

Happy Tuesday to you too! It's a beautiful day today in North NJ. At least looking out the windows it seems beautiful

Mother's Day is going to be unique this year.... my parents recently told me their putting the house on the market and moving to AZ.(hopefully the house won't sell right away) My 90 year old grandmother (maternal) has expressed in the past that they can't move till she's dead...(she can be overly dramatic at times)
So my parents are breaking the news to her on Sunday... this ought to be fun!
Of course my grandmother can go with them or stay in NJ. Hmmm... I'm the only one left in NJ after they leave...

I think lots of wine will be served my way Sunday..... Happy Mother's Day a little early to all the Mom's out there....

No, she's not stoned at all. She just has an unexplained craving for a bag of Doritos and a plate of brownie. You can tell from the picture.

I've found my primary care physician is never available at those inconvenient times when I get sick (always weekends it seems). However, the local "Doc in the Box" (aka, urgent care clinic) works pretty well in those cases, and costs less than a hospital emergency room.

That's one thing that impresses me about Orlando - walk-in clinics are all over the place.

Emergency room doesn't cost us anything - just 6-8 hours of our lives. I have done the $40 school physicals at walk in clinics several times because our system required us to bring the kids to the clinic 3 seperate times just for a physical. The whole thing sucks.

I guess I should follow up that we were in and out of the doc's in about 35 minutes. DS may or may not have strep - we'll know tomorrrow morning. Of course, the brilliant person I talked to on the phone forgot a letter and the "Reason for Visit" section of our paperwork said "For ever". I was a bit concerned.

... I figure we could or should have a seperate THREAD for each day of the sailing? I mean... since they've permitted the duplicate of our thread as a "lite" version for a few - and perhaps other permutations - why not a day by day seperation? With so many contributors with something to say or share - and to date 100,000+ postings we can reason that it's a good idea, eh???

OK... I never claimed to be sane or sensible about my goofy ideas.

Unfortunately, the DCL rep I spoke with was incorrect... they can not do anything about the guests in other catagories in regards to the excursions (kind of what I figured)..so I will be joining you on the 19th!

Just FYI,

Over the last week, a spam bot was signing up fake user names on the planning boards in what I expect would have been a mass spamming in the future. Monica (got2travel) and I spotted it the same morning and alerted Ed Martin who has banned the spammer and deleted the address. To prevent more of this from occurring, the log-ins created on the board will need to be approved before you can access, we will get it done w/in 24 hours (if not instantly).
