DOLLAR TREE PIRATE SUNSCREEN ALERT!

I just ran in to the Dollar Tree closest to my house and they had the No-Ad POC 30 spray on sunscreen stuff.

I bring this up because I know some people couldn't find it before & they didn't have it at this particular dollar store a few weeks ago when we were all looking for it. Maybe different stores are getting it in this wave.

I split Roger's Tour of Los Arcos into its own thread, so beach is one thread and Los Arcos another. Large group doesn't seem to work, but I posted several reviews of Water Taxi and Glass Bottom Boat options for small groups.

Thanks Tom. As I mentioned over there, we went on a glass bottom boat while in Cabo back in 1994. There are several of them at the dock and run continuously. Each boat can hold about 10-12 people. This may be the way to go if we cannot find a boat to charter for all of the s.

I bought 15 bottles of this stuff at my DT. I figure with 2 kids going to summer camp and the cruise and the fact that we go the beach all year long here in FL - I will defiantely use it before the 5/09 expiration date. My DT also had panama jack aloe . Got a few of them too...

How do you do door magnets? I have some pictures made up, but I don't know how to get them onto the magnet paper I bought.

I just put the magnet paper in my printer and print each picture

Some people print the picture, have it laminated, then uese mangetic tape on the back.

I print some of mine on the magnetic paper, but for some of them I use photo paper and put the magnet tape on the backs. Some of the graphics really look much better on photo paper....like pictures of the ship or Castaway Cay.....anything that's a "real" picture is much more clear on the photo paper.

So despite Crash's psychotic, umm psychiatric advice, I called for a doc appointment at the Army hospital. Here is the conversation I had about an hour ago after pressing 1, then 4, then 1, then 7, and entering DHs social:

Operator: {grumble, chomp, slurp} Appoinmen....

Me: I would like to make an appointment for my son, he's been running a fever for 2 days.

O: We don't have any more same day appointments

{silence}

M: What? The phone line opened 5 minutes ago

O: Oh yeah for same day you should call the day before

M: So it's not same day.

O: Yeah, it's same day, you just need to call the day before {sigh} (like I'm the dumbest person on earth that I can't understand this).

M: OK, but right now I have a child with a fever, do you have any suggestions?

O: I guess you could go to the emergency room

M: for a 101 fever??? I don't care if we see his primary care manager, I would just like to get him in to see someone.

O: {sigh...} let me see what I can do. {click}

O: OK I found an emergency appointment for you at 10 am

M: Great, do we check in at the emergency rooom?

O: NO! I just said I got you an emergency appointment.

M: Please tell me where I should go...

Didn't I say this is like being uninsured? We've never seen the same doc twice & the solution for everything is 'we don't have time for you, go to the emergency room'

I've found my primary care physician is never available at those inconvenient times when I get sick (always weekends it seems). However, the local "Doc in the Box" (aka, urgent care clinic) works pretty well in those cases, and costs less than a hospital emergency room.

That's one thing that impresses me about Orlando - walk-in clinics are all over the place.

We rented a full size van at the Port in Orlando to get all of us and all our stuff to Disney World for a few hours and then to the airport. There is no way we will fit in our minivan.

My parents are going to pick us up from the airport at home with BOTH vans!

I did this exact same thing! (The full size van at the port and then go to Downtown Disney for a few hours before the airport.) We will not fit in a minivan either with 3 weeks worth of luggage (4 for me). We figured instead of worrying about what kind of minivan we could get, we just paid the 20 bucks extra and got the full size.

That sounds like the Volusia County Florida School District Response. Lisa (DD13) was kicked in the head playing soccer in 1st period PE. They thought she had a concussion, so I took her to the Doctor. When I left the school, they said I could find her assignments for the day (weekend) on line. I looked, but some fo the teachers don't use these site or it said "Complete worksheet / assignment given in class". So I left a message and an e-mail detailing out what I needed for her homework and that I would come back to the school before the day ended to pick it up.

The response I received when I tried to pick it up was "You have to make arrangements 24 hours in advance in order to pick up homework" Right, I am supposed to know yesterday that my child is going to be kicked in the head this morning in PE and request her homework" I was SO angry.

I told the individual in charge I was so frustrated because my daughter was trying to be a responsible student and have her work done on time and they weren't helping. Then I said (and should not have) that I now understood where my 18 year old son had developed his "whatever" attitude toward school because that is the attitude being demonstrated by the school administration.

Is this Tom and Lynn? Hi - its Laura - the Med lady with the huskies too - are you guys on this one? How are the furr kids? Mine just busted a tooth which had to have emergency extraction - now on to be watched for several weeks. I hope it holds until I get back.

Anyway, as you can all tell, I am a major procrastinator. I think I have this idea that if I'm not packed - it would be cheaper in that I only have to take one suitcase and then I can buy the other stuff I need in one major shopping spree! Shopping!

We are on this one too! My Sister and BIL are joining us this time for their first Disney Cruise.
Sadly, we lost one of our Sibes (Spirit, all white, 6 year old) in February, coincidentally on the same day Lynn's dad died. Spirit had a reaction to medication that the vet was using to treat an auto-immune blood disease he developed. We still have our Red & White, (Nala,13yr) and our Black and White, (Mystic, 4yr) and our new all white Sibe puppy, (Angel, 14 weeks). We had to get a playmate for Mystic. She was so bonded to Spirit and Nala's just too old to play with her much. Hope your husky gets well real soon!

I am going to NJ to Celebrate mothers day, my moms birthday on the 10th and my nieces First Communion also on the 10th. I was glad it worked out that everything was happeneing the same weekend - it will be nice to be together with my entire family.

BOSTON, May 4 (UPI) -- The practice of charging travelers extra for such premiums as window seats and extra leg room is gaining a hold among U.S. airlines, analysts note.

US Airways, JetBlue Airways Corp. and Air Canada recently began charging $5 more for a window seat, $10 for extra stretching room and $25 for passengers who want to be able to connect with a reservations agent if s flight is delayed or canceled,The Boston Globe reported Sunday.

US Airways additionally plans to charge most passengers at least $5 extra to reserve an aisle or window seat in the first several rows of coach class, beginning Wednesday.

The charges are a way for the airlines to offset rising fuel costs in an economic climate that has been the worst for the airlines since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Although some passengers are sure to grumble over the increased costs associated with air travel, others may welcome the charges as a way to give them more control over what they pay for to fly.

"Ultimately, they will be more satisfied because they will be in control of their travel experience," said Henry Harteveldt, principal airline analyst for Forrester Research Inc.

On the other hand, I just rebooked our Denver to LAX leg of the trip this morning on SW and received a $99 credit to be used on future flights. We'll probably use it to fly my oldest DS to see his Grandparents this summer. Now, I'm just waiting for the Orlando to Denver leg prices to go down so we can get another credit.

I did some research & most of the tour companies are comparable price wise, but I was impressed with the courtesy & information provided by Arrive in Style Limo. Their website is:

They will pick us up in a Hummer Limo in the Disneyland Resort Area & give us a tour of the LA/Hollywood area from 8am - 12noon Saturday morning. It comes out to $49.00 per person (not including gratuity). That price MAY change, depending on the amount of people. They have a hummer that holds up to 30.

A few people mentioned in the thread that they might be interested, but I only have information from those who PM'd me. oh, whats wrong with this? our new neighbors..[ our recreational land out
in the country] ..told about many of his friends..going to the disgusting
pain clinincs...then reselling..the "pills"..$10-$15 ..a pill. what are we

ps..there are no pills...that can give you a happy life..something, we all
must do...for ourselves..like it or not. pills..are chemical..substances,
interating...with our body systems..hopefully to support our needs. * alot
of the interventions..i based education on..is pointing there are differences
between...needs versus wants. the main principle..for eating..is digesting
food for the chemicals..we need for sustaining..our metabolic needs.

the dangers..of any chemical input....are self evdient..they not only effect
the ways..we think..but also....they must be processed by our body systems,
resulting..in damages..over time. wow!..seeing abusers..@ my age!..
they are not going to live..to old age! what we "see"..they have lost more
than they ever gained...colors are dull, insights are impaired, relationships
are loss, their skin..are wrinkles..rough, & their over all features.....

are without feelings. rages are common. benzo's, are...notorious...for
losing self control. what a mess?....ya kno?..one can damage the master
control..the brain. very much...like alizhiemrs in..a young person body!
..not from..illegal street drugs..rx.'s. maybe these drs..taking free vacations
& kickbacks...should..be held..responsible? but ya see?..these zommbies
don't realized..what is being taken away...& they rather much, keep on
drugging.

hollering necessary.

...i would have to say, overall, are people ...lving miserable lives by

ha!..i worked..intnesive care , like 10 years. when life..been threaten,
is where..i first..had to learn mental health. when you are sick,
not only...you are not happy...but can be very psychotic. when i
switched..over, to "fill in"..wow!.. ..how lil' was being done
toward...recovery? where to begin?...i listened..to their..feelings..
and it didn't take long..to see..how useful...bibical knowledge could
work. [ by accident..( the good Lord 's direction)...i discovered..a
gold mine ..of effective interpersonal...baseline,a whole toolbox,
full of... recovery tools. waiting..to be used..for a brother keeper.

measurements..pends..on the ruler? just recently, saw a pt. , i
haven't..seen...for 8years. it was very important..for him to "say",
..those things..you teach..work. i jus wish..i started younger.
my reply.."me too". @ the end of every day, we're all in the
same boat....whether we admitt it or not.

being & finding happy...in my daily routines..makes my life what it
is today...therfore, i believe.., in ~deeds, very important. dear,
buck-i -fan, your sharing, of your children accomplishments....
..shows alot the reasons....we are doing disney's. hope, is a power
emotional tool...& they have it written all over them!..& where did
it come from....while, their parents.

we..human beings..are fully equipped...that's why...i get sooo
@ the ways alot drugs..being used...., depression? can be normal..
even expected...& only should be supported. ie, when you lose one of your
parent..should not make a person..happy. feeling depress..is normal,
in that situation. why..drugs- . oh, fyi, the 2 major stressors
effecting...pursuit of happiness, are losses & lonliness....which sorta goes
a long..way...why it behooves..one ..being nice to others.
