Stumbled across these pics of our last Mexican Riviera cruise.

I can't remember now, where is everyone doing the Jolly Roger pirate ship?
This is a pirate ship in Puerto Vallarta:

And the port terminal in PV....the lower buildings with the blue water (fountains) is the terminal shopping area....inside the round building are the port offices (and bathrooms!)

Chatty pirate yesterday after a slow moving couple of days.
TG for 3 day weekends!

Funny story from yesterday - DS9's team was invited to the Chevy Chase Country Club :snooty: to play their hockey team. They have a fully-size refrigerated outdoor rink, so it was a fun opportunity. When we got there we were sent to our locker room, which was basically a shed with a space heater. Through the windows past the "Members Only" door we could see their locker room - huge NFL/NHL size lockers and a FIRE PLACE in the center.
There were no bleachers, so we sat on a wall along the side of the rink. The "Members Only" had a second level enclosed dining room and patio overlooking the rink. We couldn't even get a cup of coffee or hot chocolate because the snack bar was "Members Only", so we came prepared with muffins, doughnuts and thermos' full of hot beverages. It was so lovely to feel like a "guest". :rotfl:

Moral of this story: We didn't have a fireplace, we didn't have brunch delivered to out windowside seats, but the one thing we did have was SCOREBOARD.

Our kids won 8-4.
Our parents and coaches are not a win and all cost group at all, but there was a certain satisfaction to winning that one. :)

I know as a responsible adult & parent, I shouldn't get such satisfaction from situations like this, but I just can't help myself. Great win!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hey LilGrumpy....did I ever tell you that my middle daughter's name is Jordan? She's 17...or as she keeps reminding us...almost 18.
This is her with our son Jared...an old picture

We are doing the pirates in Aruba.
Thanks for sharing the pictures. 6 months doesn't seem to long from now. But I reckon you will get to see most of our ports in June--lucky gal:goodvibes

ANDREW! You know BETTER than to come here and write something like that - with all us wenches here? Hhhhmmmmmmm.......

Seriously - conrats - I hope you get a gold card!

Yes will, so sorry about that - I didn't realize! But hoep this makes up for it - :flower3:

But I'd of greeted any DIS-ser in the same manner so don't think your special Andrew! :rotfl:

Thank you

Thank you
:lmao: :lmao:
I'm jealous..I've always wanted to get a suite:yay:
Cool surprise for the kids and DW:thumbsup2

Yes they do not know. It would be nice for this repo, but I have a year to wait

Woohoo that is exciting Andrew! Congrats! :woohoo:
Although not nearly as exciting....we just upgraded to a Junior Suite on our Explorer of the Seas cruise for next April. You probably saw that coming, but I decided the extra room, tub, and walk-in closet were worth the extra $400 after all. :rolleyes1

:surfweb:
Thank you and yours sounds good, often my big cost is transatlantic flights so I cannot go more than once a year, so when we go I like to make it special.

You did not tell me about the new thread either.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Andrew....you deserve the cat 3.:woohoo: :woohoo: With your new weight loss how is the blood pressure doing??:confused3

Thank you, I am looking forward to it, on weight my Monday check in was
15stone 11 ilbs, (stone +14ilbs) on December 31st I was 17S 7ilbs so nearly two stone off so far, BP fine.

Hope your well!

I remeber Cabo well and whilst we missed it in 2005, I am still looking forward to seeing it again, last time was on Princess cruises.
