Well, for non-barking dogs I would tell you to get a husky but they require A LOT of exercise and sometimes the howling gets a bit loud. But once I spayed her - she was ok with it. I've been lucky in that our 2 dogs don't bark but the down side - they are NOT watch dogs. But they do look scary.

Also, if you don't have a good vacuum (boy that looks funny????) don't get one - one of mine is 41 lbs - and that with gaining weight from being spayed and the other one is 58 lbs. Both inside dogs more than outside but actually very good dogs. They got out once - due to DH not locking the back gate but they didn't make it far before someone in the neighborhood recognized them as neighborhood dogs. Got them back only about 45 mintues after they left. Good thing was that I have them microchipped. So whatever dog you get - make sure you have them micro-chipped.

One of our neighbors has a husky. I love how they look too:lovestruc
How much is a lot of exercise:confused3 Is walking 3-4 times a day, plus a fenced in yard enough:confused3
Luckily my DS doesn't mind vacuuming (Now that does look funny:laughing: )

greetings..:cool1: ..

is anyone off work for President weekend? I am taking DS#1 college shopping..

well off to ketchup

I'm off work, but not going anywhere:rolleyes:

What colleges are you going to see? I remember going with my Dad:goodvibes

Happy Birthday
Katie!

Thanks to all. We let her have an evening with the mouse.....no not ::MickeyMo ...the other one, Chuck E Cheese...my wallet has been violated.:headache:

Wait until your daughter is a little older . . . I went with my 15 year old. Also, I read the book afterwards and thought the book was better, not that the movie wasn't great, but the detail in the book was extraordinary.

I picked up the book too:goodvibes I haven't started it yet. Still trying to finish another one (I hate quitting midway, even if it's not good:confused3 ).
I missed a lot of the dialogue in the movie because of my hearing loss. My theater has one screen that has closed caption, but it is difficult to find out when the movies I want to see are on that one screen:headache:
I should have read the book first:rolleyes:

Have lots of popcorn:: and why can't we go for the run now?:confused3 :rotfl2:

ANOTHER TIP: Make sure you disembark behind DisneyPilots and FGM (Mark and Laura) Laura wrote that she has this foolproof method of getting an emerald, after all - When in Rome.......er....Columbia. :thumbsup2
Follow away....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Right to the Tequila.

Tom, know that Jean and her family are in our prayers. I know how rough this is especially when it is some of you same age.
Same here. lots of prayers.

I gotta go now - we're off to Verizon to replace my nearly non-functional cell phone. I think I'll get a "chocolate" or a "crazor"...
i just got the Voyager for both Elizabeth and myself. We love them.

You passed 200 drugs today??? And survived???:rotfl:
Exactly what I was thinking. :rotfl2:

I was watching last night to see if DS10's mentor took the breed (he didn't). Then the Weimaraner took the group and I had to stay up late to watch BIS. (Oops, Best In Show)
I was watching for the Weims too. I had to give up the TV so I recorded it on DVR but haven't see it yet.

.. Jean is out of surgery and recovering well in ICU. Her memory appears normal and that's a good thing, eh? Her husband Peter seems very upbeat now. So I'm quite happy too. Of course, the real challenge remains ahead for them. Renal cancer that's obviously spread - even after they excised a kidney is not a good thing. However, we all have to happy with where we are today and we should always make the best of today in the here and now, right?[/COLOR]

.
Sounds like there is some good news in that. We will keep praying.

Why do people live in Illinois. :sad2: I just want to move to Florida!!!

Except Florida has hurricanes:rolleyes1

Have you thought about rescuing an older dog? There are many mixed and pure bred dogs looking for good homes. Nice dogs. Often with known backgrounds.

An older dog wouldn't have any problem holding it all day.

:thumbsup2 If you need help with identifying a breed - let me know. Glad to help. 20+ years in the dog world is good for something. :rotfl:

Thanks :goodvibes I would like to rescue an older dog-less work than a puppy. I'll be calling on you when we get ready to pick one out:thumbsup2

Yeah you could clearly take on Tom and Andrew with the weapons concealed in the space diapers . . . of course, they would be pretty easy to take on anyway . . . and the space diapers, once again, would create one heck of a panty line under the robe . . .

We're stuck with the Kegels regardless . . .

Hey!

Ok, you are probably right....LOL
