Happy Birthday Andy!!!!

I agree...they really need to stagger the traffic on the website because it just can't handle it. I think their thinking is they are going to sell out all bookings for excursions & Palo even if the website crashes so there is no incentive to improve the procedure.

I must say this is a HUGE improvement on the older system. The first time we cruised, it was a MAD DASH to get in line to get your PALO reservations and then to rush to SPA for reservations (or vise-verse). I'm all for staying up in the middle of the night in my PJs and attempting to get my PALO reservations. It sure beats using up precious time onboard to do it.

I am looking forward to Disney taking another step into the 21st century and allowing us to book as we pay. The challenge for them may be having things ready to go far enough in advance. Heck, we still only have a guaranteed room and NO ROOM ASSIGNMENT yet. Maybe they are waiting for us to pay in full . . .LOL

Have a super day!

What a great variety of cakes. I think that is the most fishing cakes I have ever seen.

I know, he was having fun looking at them. Actually, I think I might get him on the computer one day. He is getting more interested in reading when I show him something. Baby steps:rotfl:

As a Lenten activity, I had several of my 7th grade PSR students over last night to watch Passion of the Christ, and then we had a group discussion for a couple of hours. It was a "heavy" evening to say the least.

So....I'm looking for some light-hearted entertainment this morning. Can you all turn up the jokes and sarcasm a notch for me? :goodvibes

Deanna, I still have never watched that movie.

I am sure that will be lots of men and boys with sportcoats instead of tuxes. We are renting them for the cruise to save luggage space.:)

Yeah, we have done both on different cruises. One we did the tux rental. It was great not having to pack them!! The other was just sports coats . .. in fact, we planned to SKIP formal night in the dining room and just eat at Topsiders that night. Our server convinced us that a coat and tie was just fine for formal night (and a longer dress for me, but definitely NOT formal). We were amazed how well we fit in. We were also a bit surprised at the number of folks that TOTALLY ignored ANY dress code.

I'm planning to rent the tux for DH and to find suitable suits for DS13 and DS11. But it is worth considering the rental for the kids verses the cost of the suits . . ummm

Off to the gym to work out .. .gotta meet with my new personal training (I just joined the gym last week). I am determined to be FIT in time for our cruise ;)

Have a wonderful day!

My boys have been fine in suits and ties before, but this time I'm getting tuxes for them.
I will be lucky to get Bobby into a dress shirt. No way will he wear a tux unless he totally changes his clothing style in the next 6 months

Someone on my last cruise found the link for me. Max size for flying Tink is 5'1" and 110 lbs. The parade Tink is even smaller - I've never seen Tink in a parade, but I think I heard she's in the pirate and princess parade :confused3

I'm getting personlized plates for my Mustang. I wanted TINK ISH, but I'm limited to 6 letters. Can't decide between TINK SH and TNK ISH. From the Tink magnet on my car it would be pretty obviously that the plate means Tink, not tank!

Why not just "Tink"?

Happy Birthday
Andy

hmm It's the opposite at my table. I have the waiters bring me a kid menu too every night as i would rather have some of the stuff from there.

I am weird :upsidedow that way and usually will ask for a couple substitutions on an adult meal.

I love Mickey shaped pasta lightly buttered and cheese sticks and sometimes would just rather have the fruit cocktail.

I only eat pasta, shrimp, lobster, and hamburgers!!! I eat off the kids menu too!!:cool1:

Cheryl saves you money!

I try to spend everyone else's mony.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Come on Cheryl, I thought you loved this group! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Now if you were my luggage handler at LAX..... I would be a Doubletree for sure!!:thumbsup2

I see I'm talking to myself......:cool1:

These are the only answers you want to hear anyway!!! Your own.;)

:lmao:
You guys are funny. I think I will have to opt for the Tink shirt and kid's wings, though.

A costume covered in lightbulbs is a packing challenge that I'm just not ready for.

I could not find one any smaller but hop this helps!!!:rotfl:

Team him up with the (alleged) wife-killing cop in my subdivision and we're all set for a made-for-TV movie.

Seriously, that's pretty scary. But there are some days when I wonder what the going rate on a kidney would be. My wife doesn't save me as much money as Cheryl so I might need to consider this soon.

J.R. I post lost on the thread two but it is gone!!!;) You sound sound down a little. I am telling you it is time for a drink!!!:woohoo:

Oh come on, we gotta be a big enough incentive to move on over. :lmao:
We are taking Super Shuttle from LAX to San Pedro. We get in at 2:50.
We could get to the port earlier and have dinner with us. They have a free shuttle to the port.

I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday when I read about all the problems.

Happy Monday!C Coral

I will check it out later and see what I come up with.:flower3:

This could be too much fun.....

Semi-Tink could be S TINK

Seriously, there will be many people who won't get it. My plate is DIZNYFAN and it is in the "been there, done that, going back" WDW plate holder. I can't tell you the number of people who come up and ask me which NY team I am dizzy for.

Deanna, I still have never watched that movie.

I haven't either - just can't bring myself to do it. Actually, I'm just getting ready to watch "The Last Temptation of Christ" for the first time.

Or "TINKY"

yea, people can be dumb. Our other plate is SK8FAM and people have asked me what it means.

I guess I don't care so much if people get it.

..i almost forgot...& sorry....justm.~ , thanks for asking about
my baby "princess: ". ....i was telling my wife, "honey~dew...notice
we don't have any "new"..baby..{ due to techn. diffculties...& flying
objects...her response/s..were blocked! }

oh, i forget..again...the hocking hills..in spring.../early summer..in bloom,
would also be...something special...* it's one of ohio's best kept
secrets...a magical...pixiedust: place....that's most would never dream
of..being in ohio! :thumbsup2 are they honeymooning..@ the "falls"?

I don't think I have a "favorite" villain....I don't like the villains at all. :scared: I'm all for Happy Endings!

Wow....congrats on the HUGE trophy! It's nearly as big as she is. :cheer2:

DD & soon to be hubby are spending their first night of wedded bliss in one of the cabins at the wedding site...Valley View Cabins in Hocking Hills.
The following weekend, they are meeting us in California for the Magic's Mexican Riviera cruise.

Yep...I get to do the booking nightmare twice!! :crazy2:

For what its woth, I will werar my tux if I lose enough weight to actually fit in it again. Otherwise its a dark suit.

Kids, 9&11 at time of. Cruise, growing like weeds. Will NOT get tuxes for them. Will probably just do blue. Blazers for them.

But I'm probably in the minority (and just too cheap to buy wear it once suits or tuxes).

I'm starting to think the same. Beginning to think some nice dress pants and shirts for DS for normal nights with the addition of a tie for formal might work. We have two family weddings this summer - so hoping one or both of the dresses I buy for them will work for the cruise as well. It's going to be hard enough to find ones I like for the weddings far less the cruise. I hate dress shopping.

Give it up Satan Bacon!

I sit in some of these stupid, stupid, stupid and boring meetings where you look for ways to entertain yourself..... so I've become quite good at creating acronyms for things that don't need them.... hence my enjoyment at the TINK plate dilemma

It is a tossup between Snickers and Reese Cups what is the best seller at my store. And I keep a stash of Reese Cups in my office for when I need a little pick me up.
Where did you say you were located???? I LOVE Reeses Peanut butter cups. Especially in chocolate ice cream

You have me down for 2 rooms, right?
Happy Monday!
Coral

Okay...let's see who I'm missing:
Escaping Moms......2 rooms
Coral...................2 rooms
MaryAnn..............1 room
Barbara................1 room
Mike.....................1 room
Laurie...................1 room
Tom.....has 1 room on points....

I KNOW I am forgetting someone.......:sad2:
