Yeah!- Thanks. My poor computer has been searching and searching. I have no clue what directory it went to but this helps.

edited: I must have downloaded it and not saved it. That file is not on my hardrive. bummer. Guess I have to wait til the book comes out.

It's snowing to beat the band here. Expecting 10 inches by midnight. I sent DH to the store to get a few things & he's going on & on about how miserable the grocery store was since everyone is in a panic buying all the fixin's for french toast! Better him than me!

Sowing since before 5 am here and is supposed to snow all through the night, upwards of 12 inches by the time it is all said and done. I'm hoping that this is the last big one for the year.

Translated = thank goodness she will stop going on and on about how she never got a pirate:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Congratulations Cheryl, long time coming!

Now it's my turn!! I ain't never got no pirate: I ain't never got no pirate: .....:lmao:

Lisa.....your answer to number 7 actually made me tear up....I am such a mush! It was so sweet!

Oh, and I though the cookie dough ice cream on CC was icky. You didn't miss anything. Next time, I'll go with plain ol' vanilla.

Yeah, it's what keeps drawing me back.

Good to know about the cookie dough ice cream.

Now it's my turn!! I ain't never got no pirate: I ain't never got no pirate: .....:lmao:

PS..Well they are not real pirate: posts anymore, as the previous thread's ended on odd numbers, and not a round thousand, the actual pirates continued form thread 1, would be in different places, so who knows you might have had one in part 2 or part 3?

( or shouldnt I say that?)

These are the ones i got. Not sure which i'll be keeping though.

Dh and I were just looking through the DCL excursions for Cartagena, and found this one which might be quite interesting, but not very suitable for kids.

Dh thinks it is a deal for only $49! :lmao:

City Drive, Shopping and La Popa
Experience the magic of Cartagena during a sightseeing tour of the Convento de la Popa and the Bocagrande, and shop till you drop in Las Bovedas and the Pierino Gallo Mall.

Surrender to a spectacular backdrop of sweeping countryside as you embark on a relaxing, air-conditioned motor coach drive from the pier to the historic city center of Cartagena. During your trip, discover the fascinating history and culture of this picturesque seaport from your friendly guide and marvel at the ornate mansions at buildings of the famous "Manga" residential district. Following your 15-minute drive, arrive at the Convento de la Popa, situated high on the hillside overlooking the city and harbor, and marvel at the breathtaking views that surround you in every direction. Over 400 years old, the Convento de la Popa is a monastery that was built on the age-old grounds where local Indians and fugitive black slaves used to meet, and is arguably Cartagena's top scenic destination. Following your 20-minute visit, journey to the famous dungeons of Las Bovedas, which were originally built in the late 18th century as a means for storage despite the name, and sightsee and shop amidst the many handcraft boutiques and stores that now fill the area.

After your 20-minute shopping spree, embark on a 15-minute drive to the famed walled city and marvel at the plethora of colonial buildings and age-old fornications around every corner. Make your way to the modern residential area known as Bocagrande, home to vast array of hotels, shops, eateries, night clubs and art galleries, and snap a picture of the long stretch of sun-kissed sand and breathtaking blue water in the distance. Finally, travel to the Pierino Gallo Shopping Center, and soak up the local flavor as you indulge in a bit of shopping amidst some of the finest gold, emerald and handcraft retailers in the city. After your hour-long visit, sit back and relax as you begin your 30-minute return trip back the ship.

OMGoodness....they are around EVERY CORNER! I thought this was a family cruise!! :rotfl2:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl::rotfl:

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is
worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went
unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote 'The Hokie Pokey' died peacefully at the
age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the
coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

Shut up. You know it's funny. Now send it on to someone else and make them smile.

OK...I just got this e-mail and had to share. It's sick and twisted, so of course I laughed.

I love sick & twisted.

Yeah!- Thanks. My poor computer has been searching and searching. I have no clue what directory it went to but this helps.

Unless we're talking about two different things, I printed the whole thing out when I was very new to the Boards. LOOOOOONG! I went through almost a whole package of paper. And I think I finally threw it away this past year.

Well, it's raining again. It has become a pattern....only raining on the weekends so that we get stuck here.

At least we have plenty of food. I spent over $300 at the store yesterday! :scared1:

Thanks! :goodvibes

M, Kylie has a good handle on the 3 turns, mohawks, waltz jumps and one foot spins....but she REALLY wants to shoot the duck! Just doesn't have the core strength yet. She gets loves watching the "big girls" do it, and it's so cute to see her try. :)

DD never had a problem with shoot the duck. She had a really big problem trying to skate backwards. To watch her try to do those crossovers was agonizing. I even have it on tape :lmao: The other part of the problem was she started skating at age 3 and was prob way too young to keep up.Scanned this one as well. 3yrs old and begged to learn how to skate on the ice. They also had a recital. The owner of the school was an old show skater. He skated with Sonja Henie and had a friend from Las Vegas who was starting out as a magician. I remember his name was Lance and I am quite sure on seeing him he is Lance Burton. But I could be wrong. It was a long time ago. Here are the pics. When DD was teaching she bumped into her old coach at a competition almost 17yrs later. Bobby was unique. Always wore a long fur to the rink and drove a Pink Cadillac.

1. Toe cleavage, yes or no? I am not sure what "toe cleavage" is exactly so I'll pass on this one

2. (From last weeks chat) If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Darn, missed last weeks chat due to work and will probably miss todays too but I'll say becoming invisable

3. What are three things we would be surprised to hear you never got around to, ever, on your disney cruise? I've never been to the midnight dessert buffet, never been to the spa ... can't think of a third

4. (Inspired by M and her dream to be Tinkerbell) What disney charater would you want to live the life of ? Not walk around the parks dressed as, live the life of. Mulan - smart and a not a feeble chick

5. If all expenses were paid, which would you choose: the Grammys, the Oscars or the Nick Kids Choice Awards. Not sure about the Kids Choice (never heard of it) and the other two are so waffley with the speeches, I'd be bored to tears in five minutes. Send someone else...

6. If you could go back in time, just once, where would you go and who would you meet up with? Opening day at Disneyland - sounds like a nightmare but it would have been cool to see how it was then.

7. When you're thinking about your disney cruise (instead of working) what is your defining vision? The buffet! I should be the size of a house, the way all I do is fixate about food :rotfl:

Coral. sometimes when I want to find out what the kids may have downloaded I have done a search for files on that date. I couldn't tell you offhand how I used to find them but I did, and they were busted. Have you tried that??

Need some help here.....

My Mom and her boyfriend are in Florida for a few weeks. He has never been to WDW and has refused to go (probably due to guilt of never having taken his kids??), but my Mom is either dragging him there or got him to agree to go for one day.

She is thinking either Animal Kingdom (he's a hunter and has been on safari, etc.) or EPCOT. She wants me to scout out/suggest a few attractions for them to see/do.

Limitations: just keep walking to minimum (e.g. options for return trip by boat, tram, etc.)

Your thoughts?

I would say Epcot EXCEPT for the walking issue . . . it really does require the most walking, although if you take those boats from future world to different spots in world showcase, you could cut it down some . . .

Saw this on the State Dept website about travel warnings about Columbia
Anyone going off on their own just an FYI to be very careful

http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/tw/tw_941.html

Exactly what I've been worried about . . . thanks for that, Jo.

Just like you Andrew to post a poll and be the only one to answer it!!!!:lmao:

Dh and I were just looking through the DCL excursions for Cartagena, and found this one which might be quite interesting, but not very suitable for kids.

OSCARS COMING!

No not those other ones the sideshow in Hollywood, but remember last year the repo thread Oscars?

So what are your nominations for:-

Best supporting website, DCL/DIS/PIRATE ZONE seem to be high on the list

Pirate Zone by a landslide.

Best Animation, Well we know who got that last year, two in a row?

Anything by Crash.

Best Informative post?

I'll have to come back to this.

Best picture? Now do you remember any of these, we have a problem, due to the long standing, long thread writers and IT guys strike, we cannot look back on the best bits. Please no votes for the bunny with a pancake on its head!

I really like the grounghog with the bazooka

Warmest supportive Disser, the one with the nicest words of support for another Disser,

There are so may warm supportive people that it's difficult to name one, but the first name that popped into my head was Julie.

Most cutting, floor, remark made, surely not, someone who made a cutting post? ( just for fun!)

I'll have to get back to this one too.

Thread lifetime Achievement award, who should get an award for the most effort put in to this thread?

Tom31b by a landslide.

Best Signature line, or Smiley award?

hmmmm

Best 'faked' picture award, where someone has nicked a photo and cut and pasted someone else's picture on it, oh no boxer shorts!

love the dirty rotten scoundrels, also love all the iterations of Stace's picture

And finally.

The overseas award for the best poster from outside the USA, living in the UK, not born in Wales, and having the first name ANDREW award.:thumbsup2 I might have a chance on that one!:rolleyes1

I'm thinking, I'm thinking...
