Patch Swap

We are going to make one heck of a lounge act on TOAL.

And this is sober .... imagine after quite a few drinks....

We can come up with an act for the talent show - do the whole thing in morse code...

CRUISE QUESTION

I called my dr office today to ask about immunizations for the cruise and they were completely unhelpful. Told me they don't do it and I have to go to a special "travel" clinic to get this done. If I already had my Hep A shots a while ago and my last Tetnus was 6 years ago, do I really need anything else? Are we going to need Yellow Fever or Malaria vaccines? Or a Malaria prescription??? The travel clinic is "out of network" and I don't want to spend the $$ if I can help it. Thanks!

None required but my doc did recommend a flu vaccine and also Hep A which we already had.

We are at very low risk for malaria or yellow fever so don't need those.

Are you so excited??? This is count down and so much to do....24 more days till we board the boat. I am not stressed but I have so much to do. I haven't packed yet but we are just waiting for things in the mail such as postcards, dress for DD6. I just have to convince her to wear dress shoes LOL. If she could she would wear tennis shoes with her formal. LOL...
And the boys just has to get fitted for tuxes and get them one. Kinda worried about that cause we haven't gotten them one.

I am trying to skim through the posts today to ketchup and think that someone posted the special DL 3 day tickets that people have been mentioning are only 107? Are these PHs? TIA for the info.

They are 3 day passes for $99 that can only be purchased by southern CA residents. Many reports are that they only check when you purchase (at local grocery stores) and not when the tickets are used at the gates. A few have even reported that they've asked at Guest Services and been told that no ID is required for admission and if you are asked, then you should speak to a supervisor.

These are Southern California 3 day PH tickets. However, many have reported that DL doesn't check to ID to verify that you're a SoCal resident (much like they don't let food in the parks )

The risk is that they do require ID and you have to "upgrade" to a 2 day PH for $136.

There are a few SoCal Residents (Michelle, Jen, etc.) that have generously offered to purchase these $99 tickets for other pirates. Michelle said that where she buys them, they don't charge tax so they aren't $107, but $99.

Yes they are hopper passes and I'm heading to Vons instead of Albertson's this time. I was a little confused about the tax on the last one, but didn't have the time to argue. This time I'm taking the time! I'm picking up 7 for pirates tomorrow at lunch. PM me before then and I can get more if needed.

We got a DVC discount back in 2005 when we got bought our DL passes. I think it was 10 or 20%.
