OK the most disturbing thing is happening to me.
I work from home and keep the tv on as background noise but it is behind my computer armoire so I cannot see it. I was working yesterday and heard an ad that started with "I am Bryant Herzog..." I about flipped out of my chair. This is the Dr. that I feel was extremely incompetent with my oldest DD birth. Did not hospitalize me when I was 20 weeks pregnant, dialated to a 2 and 50% effaced in active labor-and we were down the hall from the OB ward IN A HOSPITAL!!
Apparantly the med spa biz is better than being a OB (especially if you stink at it). It just brings up so many painful scary emotions. If it was on the same time I would just turn in the radio.
Hopefully he won't get any business and will not be able to afford the ads for very long.

I was just showing this to Rich and we both have a question that the Captain may be able to answer.
In looking at the outfits, we noticed they all have some sort of scarf (?) wrapped around or hanging. What was the purpose?

I was looking at that site to make postcards but every time I found a photo that I wanted to upload it didn't look right on their site on the preview. I gave up and will be purchasing the postacards at the beach this weekend, plenty of souvenir shops there

Sure Mike. I do not profess to being a PS expert but I do know how to do underwater color correction. I read directions (only if I can't figure it out first) very well.

Just got online and got our flight information. We don't arrive in LA until noon. I am a little worried. We only have 40 minutes to catch a connecting flight in DFW. Fortunately we are fairly familar with DFW as that is where my inlaws live. So I am sure we won't be seeing anyone in the terminal and hope to make the Sail Away meet. So keep your fingers crossed for us to make all the connections and get on the ship before it sails. I was hoping letting DCL make the arrangements would make it easier.

if you have a few minutes, look for a book titeled "Who Moved My Cheese" . I was out with a on-duty spinal injury that almost cost me my abilty to walk, and I was more conerned about not being able to go back to work. I know my priorities were a little twisted. But, with a lot of PT and the huge support of my DW, I was able to make it back to work full-duty.
But I learned a very valuable lesson. actually 2 lessons. Family First, no matter what, and Work to live, Not Live to Work

In addition to Todd's Flying Dutchman CC picture, that is. I'm thinking between dinner seatings or sometime during the afternoon on a sea day. Maybe PC day, while everyone is in "uniform".

Coral, I get this when I have a problem either with my ears or a stomach thingy. I think it was the stomach and it is getting better. At least the world isn't spinning anymore . Rich made some toast and I took a claritin. Had to cancel his appt tho til next week. Think I'm ok to go downstairs and take my meds........So much to do today and this just frustrates me.

Gotta be honest, that would make me nervous. The storms can be bad that time of the year here. As you know terminals mean everything here. If you have to switch terminals you are going to have a very hard time making that short a connection.

American of course. So they are in two terminals, and if I go by the flight schedule as of today we will need to get from A to C in less than 40 minutes. Like that is going to happen...and any thoughts of where our luggage might end up? You would think DCL would consider that. I have an email into my TA to see what she can do. If I don't hear I may call DCL direct (and hope they will talk to me since it is through a TA). Plus are they going to charge me for 3 bags even though I booked with DCL a long, long time ago?

I am really freaking out.

I know what you mean. My brother fell off a ladder and on to the desk of a person on the floor below him when he got a bad bout of vertigo. (Ohahafamily - if you are watching, that is how my brother started buying from y'all- it was in your building) I was taking a blood pressure medicine once that made me so dizzy I almost fell down the stairs. But, I just quit taking the medicine and it went away. For others- not so easy.

Someone tiped me off about the *kids* forum they got going on there
but they are either 14 or turning 15 is there anyone on here that has a daughter or a son thats 16 or 17 or even 18 years old that i can start talking to someone close to my age and not so young

i dnt think my dad && mom wants to hang out with me for 15 days like the past 2 cruises on the 7 days i hung out with them and our friends all the time because there were no kids 16 or even 17 for that matter

And imagine....this is what greeted people on our first-ever stop to St Kitt's!!!! And yes, they were on the side near the port, where all the island dignitaries, school children, bands, etc were!!



OH...see the wire frame around the light fixture? I'm the one who IS guilty of hanging two small "S" hooks on there...to dry swimsuits only!!

I felt the same way when DS flew to Nevada. He also had a 40 min layover at DFW.I googled the airport and found out there is a tram in the terminals. It got him there faster than if he walked all around and they transfered his bag directly to the next flight. Hope it makes you feel better.

That's a better idea. My "S" hooks were coated, but I was still afraid I'd chip the paint on the light fixture frame. I just don't have good luck with suction hooks, they always fall off, even if I wet them ahead of time.

I DO use the suction hooks in the closet, to hang my necklaces from. That way, the chains don't tangle and I can choose one at a glance. But I bought a new travel jewelry box for this trip, that lets the necklaces hang..so I won't need the suction cups, and I can lock the box in the safe. I got it on eBay, but it's made by Avon.
