My mother would've done that! She threw everything I ever owned out. Her house was spotless. Not a picture of any of us anywhere to be found. Never would she hang up one of our drawings or papers from school. She was always a maniac about cleaning around the house & heaven forbid something was out of place. I have vowed to be the complete opposite of her. Papers & drawings from the kids are hung all over my kitchen. I saved some of their baby outfits, drawings, toys, etc. in a bin for each of them. I put pictures of them all around & my house is the complete opposite of spotless, but I'm hardly ever stressed either. So the coffee table is filled with magazines, toys & papers. So my laundry is all over the floor. So my kitchen table is piled with mail. It's not going anywhere!
I agree! I have DD's pink cast from when she broke her wrist rollerskating a few years ago. She was about 11 when it happened so not teeny tiny, but still I couldn't throw it out.
