Thanks to those who responded about Nemo...Do you think if I asked for an end seat they would let me? I want to go on at least once but if I am enclosed on all sides I think I might panic...:faint:

The dining times..are there any rhyme or reasoning to who gets what time..or is it dart board logic?

Well my points for the TOAL are there already and we certainly haven't paid that off yet! We hardly ever use the card, but did for the 6mo no interest and shipboard credit.

I guess they didn't want to continue to pay someone to cook the fries....

:rotfl2: Good point. The 1st credit card I ever got on my own in college was an American Express. As you have to pay that off in full every month it was a perfect 1st card to have. It trained me from the begining of my credit life to be sure I had the money to pay since I did not have the option (at least 20 years ago) to carry a balance. Not that I NEVER have but it is not the norm. I paid off the TOAL even though I got the 6 months no interest because I did not like not knowing how much money I really had.
My Mom was a rare Mom in that she trained us on all financial items from my childhood. We would even have monthly budget meetings where we would discuss what we had and what we needed to do w/ it. Since my Mom was a teacher w/ 4 kids, those meetings were important.

My DD has found possibly the worst show on TV. Anyone heard of Celebrity Juror? What caught my eye was Catherine Oxenburg was one of the jury (jurist?). I loved her in Dynasty. How far she has fallen. She is still beautiful!
I did not even know the other 2 w/ her.

thanks...for us it is more important to have the 8pm slot than what theme nights fall in each restuarant. Last cruise, we had 8:30 and it was MUCH too late, even for us night owls

You have that right!!!!:thumbsup2 I missed half of pirate night sitting in the restaurant til 10:45 pm. I want early and beside you can actutally get a seat in the clubs with 8:00 dining.

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

not that that 's a bad thing.....

You are a sweetie!!

I completely agree...the theme nights are very secondary for me. :thumbsup2 I used to not feel that way, but I do now.

I am glad we all agree that theme nights are secondary compared to missing half the fun at tnight!!::yes::

Your right Cheryl (when are you ever wrong) it does look like a large MRI. Not for me:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: You know how I got when I had that one 3 years ago!!!!!!!!!

Glad you realize.:lovestruc ............Cheryl is never wrong except for typing!!!:lmao: :lmao:

Last time she called she said "this won't be long"... Three hours later...:lmao:

Can't wait to see you guys on Sunday :goodvibes :goodvibes

We could try for a 4 hour but neither of our batteries last that long!!!:rotfl:

I hope you are enjoying your work schedule. I think it is a GREAT idea as long as you can take 10 straight hours of work! :

I just wonder if I can keep up the pace of cooking now.:headache: I hate to cook but I have been because he gets home late and has to exercise for his heart .::yes::

When I had a heart MRI a few years ago the tech put me in the MRI and I freaked out. She had to take me out and put a mask over my eyes before she put me back in so I couldn't see how tight it was. It is amazing I didn't have a heart attack while they were doing the test.

I have no trouble with Mission Space though. When I read the warning about enclosed spaces I was nervous, but I didn't have any problems. I know I shouldn't ride this ride because of all the warnings and the number of people with the same condition as me who have died on this ride. But I am on medication and if I go that is the way I want to go. I figure it is just a CYA for Disney.

John stuck his arms out before the entrance of the MRI and refused to go through with it. :faint: The nurse felt sorry for him and got him the open MRI.::yes::

Cheryl has you trained well!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Tom.....I invested 47 year(40 of those we will be married) of training!!!! You think he would get right by now.:lmao: :lmao:

I went on Mission Space once, and once was enough for a lifetime. I generally don't do well with spinning rides, and despite their best efforts - well, I didn't get sick, but it did take some recovery time. Just had to try it though.... :cool2:

MS, Dinosaur and ToT are the 3 I plan to never ride. Actually I did ToT once and that was enough. The older I get the more spinning bothers me so I guess I will leave MS to the young uns.

"Pack Rat Syndrome":lmao:
I couldn't part with things like their first denim jacket or the purple clogs that Kelly picked out for a special picture for her Dad's b-day. Took me forever to find an outfit to match those clogs. I just tell my self that I'm saving them for my grandkids:idea:
While my DMiL had saved some clothes and toys from DH's childhood, my DM had nothing saved:worried:
Now I'm the other extreme and save too much:rolleyes1

My mother has been known to say that she is the reason I save everything - she got rid of everything!! When oldest dd was born Dh's aunt hand smocked quite a few beautiful dresses for her.....
my mother says *Oh, when you were born a bunch of the old ladies in town (my mom grew up in a town of 1,100) made you hand smocked dresses.*
Me *Where are they?*
My mom *Oh, I got rid of them as soon as you outgrew them.*
:faint: Who does that????? :confused3

We moved into this house on Feb 1st...... Our other house still has a couple of rooms filled with stuff, a 2 car garage filled and 2 attics filled.......

I bet they would... You may have to wait for the next sub though.

My Mom didn't save anything either. I don't have anything from my childhood.:( I am kind of in between. I will keep a lot of things and then get aggravated that I am running out of room and throw it all away...then be upset because I wish I had saved it.:)

I'm curious what your Grandmother did....

My Grandmother was a pack rat, several construction dumpsters to clean out stuff when she went in nursing home. My Mom was the one who is cleaning before you are done with things, if I wasn't up early enough, I had to go find the newspaper in the recycle bin....

Chrissie

There is a room set up with the show minus the sub ride for folks who can't go in the sub. Maybe that is an option for you.

Completed my FE. DH wanted an Nemo theme.

:thumbsup2 Great job!

I got some tuxes for the boys on ebay and I finally had a change to give them to the boys today. They were surprisingly excited and we had fun trying them on. Then I went to get DD3 from the neighbors and when I came back, they were both wearing the tuxes, had found black sunglasses and were making silly poses. It was really funny! I love my teens!!!!
They are really good sports for mom!

The deal I got on ebay was FANTASTIC, and well worth the money. I paid about $90 total for 2 tuxes, including shirt, vest, bow tie, pants and jacket. That cost included shipping too!

They are by no means high quality, but they will work for what we need them to and even if we never wear them again, they have saved me money as it was a lot less expensive than renting!

Great deal! And I'm glad the boys enjoyed them. :goodvibes

I am trying to get caught up - but needed to post to request prayers for my family. I just got a call from my cousin - my 20 year old 2nd cousin was just killed tonight in a car accident. Don't have details beyond that, but everyone is in shock. She was a really smart girl who had many high level goals she wanted to achieve. Ironically her grandfather on her dad's side just passed away last week. Thanks in advance for the prayers.

Prayers said! It is sad when anyone dies but, it is especially difficult when someone so young dies.

::yes:: LOVE 8pm! But, 8:30 is wwaaayyy too late!

Not going to be able to keep up much here for the next several days. We began our parish festival tonight (Wednesday) and it will go through Sunday evening.

That looks like alot of fun!!!!

I hope you are enjoying your work schedule. I think it is a GREAT idea as long as you can take 10 straight hours of work! :)

DH and I were discussing this -- he is trying to convice the CEO that it is a good idea for their Factory & the Warehouse. And perhaps a few other postions. The CEO thinks it's a bad idea..... So, dh is waiting for one of the *idiot add kissers* to suggest it to the CEO and then he will think it's the best idea since sliced bread......

:confused3 Sounds like a new low......

Love the pictures and the weather update. It sure is alot cooler at the port!!:worship:

DH says that is one of the worst thigs about CA...... The beach/coast is too cold even in the summer to swim!

I've been known to talk with my cell phone plugged in... :lmao: :lmao:

When I talk to Cheryl that is what I do. ;)

:rotfl2: My mom is the same way. When I am at her house I can't even set my drink down or else it will be dumped and the glass washed before you can blink.

The only thing I have from my childhood are my yearbooks. So now, like many of you....I save too much. I wouldn't say I'm a "pack rat", but I have a tote full of "special clothes" the kids wore and I've kept drawings and school work from each year. My dh thinks I went overboard when I refused to throw away dd's little pink cast from when she broke her arm at 3 years old. How could I get rid of that??? Her arm will never be that little again!

Darn it! Almost had a Wii Fit online from Circuit City. By the time I clicked on "check out" it was gone! Mere seconds away!

I hate even the teacups at WDW. :( I do not like things that spin except a merry-go-round.:rolleyes1 When Mission Space came out I just had to try it!!! ::yes:: I could so I have been on every ride in the park. :woohoo: Well I did not get sick either but guess who it bothered?? :confused3 John took 3 hours to recover........that is what he got for always laughing at me.:lmao:

I've been known to talk with my cell phone plugged in... :lmao: :lmao:

That is a great idea. I usually talk on my house phone which is cordless but does not do well on long marathon talks.:lmao: :lmao:

Maybe you keep missing my question but what time are you going to be at LAX Marriott??? I thought we might get to say hi!!! I just looked up the room rate and it is now $199 during August. The original rate was $139 a night.  I get senior (by just two weeks) at $119.

The right answer should be you just wanted to eat with all us Party Hearty Animals!!.:woohoo: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I stand corrected!:rotfl2:

I don't know about my grandma...she died when I was 2. But, it is interesting .. there has to be a happy medium! LOL!
I know BIL's wife has been know to throw away medication that she decided he was finished with!

DH has always told me that if I will get rid of stuff and I end up needing it again he will buy it for me. :)
