Alex did end up getting the job that he interviewed for. He will start sometime next week. He needs to have a TB skin test done first. He has had them done before but the last one is too old to be used now.

He also got all of his marks for last semester and he had in the upper 80's in everything

What did you get for Christmas

We are under a winter storm watch for tomorrow. Expecting the possibility of a bunch of snow. I'd rather not have the pile of snow but if we do, then I will take some pictures. Just for you Kelly

It takes an awful lot of snow for things to even slow down around here. We are used to snow and have the equipment available to handle it.

Carolin had cheer competition last night... they won first place! It was well deserved since they practiced every school night until 7:30 p.m. I am so proud of her (and the whole squad)!

Well we opened our Christmas presents last night, and once again I did really well, here's what I got

I've also had some $$ for my holiday

We've got my parents coming over this morning to swap presents and then later this afternoon Paul & I are off to Birmingham to stop over and see a Christmas show with my friend Nat and her hubby

We've got some snow in our forecast for this weekend. 9 to 12 inches starting this afternoon and overnight into tomorrow.

We are supposed to go out for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday tonight but that requires a drive to the same city that I went to with Alex the other day. So 3 hour round trip drive.

Guess we will wait and see how the weather is later in the day before we decide for sure whether we are going or not.

I'm not sure how much snow we got Kelly but we have some quite tall drifts because of the wind.

Albert loves the snow...So much that its hard for me to get him to stop playing and start.....doing what Im out there freezing my you know what off...So he can Do...aw:

Did a little shopping this evening, after Mike got home from work..Picked up a nice pair of slippers from Old Navy for a friend...and a CD, for one of my DGD..
SOOoooooo my christmas shopping is done..YEA!!!!

Well except for the shopping for Christmas Breakfast, and then dinner....
But most of that will wait until later this week...
We have our last concert tomorrow night...Ambers...

Kelly, it's a good thing I took those pictures the other day because the snow has actually melted a LOT since then.

Don't get me wrong, there are still huge piles of snow but I can actually start to see the edge of my deck now

Speaking of snow I had to get up this morning and help Alex get his car out of the driveway.

Somehow he managed to get it stuck, almost sideways at the end of the driveway

He was on his way to work, so Mom had to go out and help him get unstuck.

Actually we got it out fairly easily and he was off.

Today is dance day and I'm not sure what else I will be doing in between, but I'm sure that I will find something.

Hello my cruising buddies

I've been busy helping my mom today to get ready for Christmas dinner tomorrow.

It is the first year without my dad at home, so I thought I'd go and help her get things done.

We've had a pretty good snow melting day today.

I can see a lot of the grass again and also the deck is starting to reappear from under all of that snow

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

There is a party tonight at one of the neighbours. I think I'll go over for a bit and see what is new and happening in the lives of my neighbours.

Hello ladies

It been raining here today, and its only in the 40s today...Kind of warm for Dec 23...

Just having a normal Sunday with the DGGs....But they are going home early for a dinner with their mothers sister....

I have to bake cookies...and maybe put together the vegitable lasagna together..and ready to pop in the oven Christmas day..
I dont think Ill do the same with the seafood lasagna(scallops,lobster, and shrimp) as Im worried that it will get to fishy tasting...But maybe I can make up all the sections ahead of time...and then put it all together on Christmas afternoon for baking that evening...What do you all think???...Any input...????
