7th January 2007, 4 Night Wonder Cruise

Hey Mandy.

I don't remember when you were going on the cruise but if today is the day, then have a WONDERful time.


Well a very lot of that snow is all gone now.

Between the higher temperatures and the rain we have had it's been melted a lot away.

There are still a few of the larger drifts left in a newer smaller form

Today is Christmas dinner at my mom's house.

So I'm off soon.

Just looking back at your last post Mandy and I'm guessing that today MUST be your cruise day, unless the schedule has changed because of the holidays

Of course I suppose you could be doing the 3 day cruise. Now I'm not sure.

Hey Girls, we're home. We landed this morning and we're shattered. We had a great holiday, and the Cruise just made it perfect.

Robin, I'll quickly go through your questions

Yes, the Flying Dutchman is still at Castaway Cay
Sorry, we didn't go into Wavebands, so I can't help you with that one
Yes, Hercules was still on (though we didn't go to see it)
The main change we noticed was that the Sailaway Party is now known as the Adventures Party (or something like that) and they have changed the song that Mickey & pals do (I wasn't keen on that as I loved the old one so much)

I'm up to my eyes in washing and I look forward to telling you all more about it

Hope you guys had a Merry Christmas!!

I've been home with the kids since the weekend, today is my first day back to work

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile...the computer at home is not feeling too well, I may have to put it out of it's misery and get a new one

Robin, I love the snow pics... I could feel a little chill looking at all of that snow You're getting really close to your Wonder*ful trip... are you excited?

Betsy, how close does your new grandchild live? What a great early Christmas present!! Any pics of her yet?

I'm so thrilled to be booked for 2009!!! I've missed the Wonder so much! We are back on deck 7 forward but in a cat 8 this time and portside.

Did you have to do the 6am immigration thing this time or have they still done away with it

I heard that they were no longer handing out lanyards and pins at check in? Truth to that or not?

Is the return cruiser gift still the same... the bag with the mesh bags with all the stuff in it?

You'll be pleased to know that there wasn't the 6am Immagration thingy - we were able to keep our passports again

Yes we did get lanyards, but no pins, the lanyards were better than the original ones as you can seal these ones closed

The gift was a little different, we got a bigger bag, with one mesh bad inside, a notepad and pen (more useful) and a couple of cups with straws

I have to go shop for a Birthday present for my eldest DGS.. Mike...He will be 9 on NYD...They are having the party Tomorrow....
So Mike and I are going into town today...AGAIN...The way the gas prices are getting to be we are going to have to plan our weeks better....

Hey Guys

Another lot of washing and ironing done (phew I'll be glad when it's all finished). I slept right through till 11.30am today - which is not like me at all. We've done our grocery shopping, so we can eat again so hopefully I'll be back to normal tomorrow

Yes, I will be doing a trip report, just not sure when I'll be starting it

Do you have any plans for New Year ? We haven't, I can't imagine any New Year being as good as the one we had in WDW last year (never mind).

When will you be taking your Christmas trees down ? I'll probably start taking all the cards and bits and pieces down tomorrow, then the trees on Tuesday

Mandy, you have to get used to the time change too I suppose.

We have no New Years Eve plans at the moment and probably will not. We've been staying home the past few years. Usually Rick is sound asleep and I'm up on the DISboards passing the time until the new year starts

I have started to gather the Christmas decorations into a couple of spots in order to start putting them away but I haven't actually hauled any boxes out yet.

To put them away means that the storage room needs straightening also and I don't think I want to go there yet
