Morning Girls

I still can't believe that we're going to WDW on Monday. We have got such a mad weekend ahead - and I haven't even started on the washing and packing yet !!

On Saturday evening me and Paul are going to a Christmas show with my friend Natalie (who I met through the DIS) and her hubby. We're going for a meal, the show (which has different acts like comedians, dancers and pop groups) and then we're staying over in a hotel. Then Paul and I will be up early, get home, finish packing and then head up to Manchester to the airport, stay the night there and then fly off on Monday morning

My cold has gone (yay) but it has now moved into my chest, I hate having a chesty cough, I feel like someone is sitting on me at the mo. I just hope it clears soon

Robin - Yes I am a teensy bit excited

Betsy - Your decorations sound lovely, I love finding new Disney decorations for my tree

Kelly - Have you booked your Cruise yet ?

I had just gone to bed about 20 minutes before you posted

I hope your cough eases up soon. It's no fun flying with all that nonsense going on.

Sounds like you have a very busy run right up until vacation time.

It won't be much longer now.

I was thinking today that you should "hide" something somewhere on the ship for me to find when I go in a few weeks.

I don't know where a good place to be that wouldn't be discovered and removed though.

I went on a cruise once where a previous cruiser left me a surprise. She went on one or two cruises before me.

She taped me a message on one of the seats in the Walt Disney Theater. I was so amazed that it was still there when I went looking for it.

It was a few years ago but I think it was sort of under/behind one of the seat backs. It was neat though finding it.

Kelly, the "eh" thing is a highly exagerrated observation.

I can guarantee to you that I do not say "eh" at the end of every sentence

Jan 4, 2009, sounds wonderful. Is that a 7 day or a 3 or 4 day cruise??

Can we turn it into a DIS friend cruise too

I don't recall getting an "eh" out of u! "Eh" is probably exagerrated about as much as "ya'll" is for me.

This is a 4 day cruise and you are very much welcome to reserve as well! I hope that all of you guys will book!!

I am going with Alex to London. Want me to continue on to visit you

Actually I am going to London, Ontario, 1 hour and a bit away from me. Alex has a job interview and I'm just going along for the ride. He will probably drop me off in a shopping area and go for his interview. Before that we will have a nice lunch out together.

Tonight I have dance classes.

I heard on the radio that snow and a possibility of a bit of freezing rain are predicted for today

Had to call DCL... couldn't get Dreams Unlimited to respond with correct info. Rep at DCL said that rates are increasing on this sail as rooms are being booked.

I hope to have a reservation by this afternoon!! Just trying to get the family all on the same page! (& deck!!)

Oh Betsy, stay indoors and keep warm this weekend, it would depress me to have that much snow and be stuck in home. Mind you England tends to come to a halt with just an inch or two of snow

Morning!

Well I have to do the toilets, and dishes, and most of the cooking and cleaning of the house...and in the summer I have to mow...and thats a BIG job here!.....
So it all evens out in the end...

We ended up with about 6 inches yesterday...and Sat night/Sun is suppose to get really bad too....
So we are planning on shopping Sat. morning...We dont really have much left to get...
I have to get something for my girlfriend, and one or two more things for mike...Our "big" gift to each other will be our tickets to the world for next June...Thenall we'll have to worry about are the tickets for the girls..3 adult, and 2 childs....So after Christmas ..we will be in SAVE mode..for sure!LOL

Betsy, We are the same as Mandy... more than 2 inches of snow and you'd think it was a blizzard here. Everything closes down! If you get any pics, please post... I love snow!!

Carolin had cheer competition last night... they won first place! It was well deserved since they practiced every school night until 7:30 p.m. I am so proud of her (and the whole squad)!
