7th January 2007, 4 Night Wonder Cruise

Mandy, It probably would be close to the same time as this years cruise and I'm pretty sure it would be a 4 nite again. Somewhere around the 6th probably... I've been trying to check out the rates/dates, but it looks like they are having a little trouble with their website.

BTW... Chad got a card from the arcade and didn't use all the points, I think it still has points on it. It said it was good for a year, do you guys want it?

That was in 2009 ...... seems like a long time to wait but we did wait a long time to get together for the first one too.

Sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

As for early January '09, we would be interested, but we wouldn't be able to commit till after our August '08 cruise ~ oh wow ! it would be brilliant if we could get the 'Disney Wonder Dancing Queens' back together again
I did look online to see the rates, but they only go up to December '08

What are your plans for the weekend ? I think we've got a quiet day tomorrow (as two weeks of rain are due to fall in one day ) then on Sunday we're going shopping for some swimwear for the girls and then going out for a meal

This is suppose to be a quiet weekend for us! No soccer games, CW is upset though... Chad isn't allowed to play soccer as he has broken his hand. He must be a tough kid because we didn't realize it was broken during a soccer game almost two weeks ago. It just looked like he had broken a blood vessel, it swelled up pretty good. So now I've got the "worst mom" blues for not taking him for an x-ray any sooner. He was suprised that it was broke... he said it didn't hurt that bad, just the day it happened.

So sorry to hear about Chad's broken hand, I hope it mends quickley for him. That reminded me of Kerry from a few years ago, she fell while playing tennis at school and hurt her wrist. I was convinced she'd be fine, but the next day the hospital told me it was broke - I felt awful

p.s. I've just got off the phone to DCL, and we've just upgraded from a Cat.9 to a Cat.5 (near where we were last time) and I can't wait - I'm so excited !!

Robin - We originally booked a stateroom with a porthole on deck 2 and now we've got a verandah on deck 7, it was a little treat to ourselves as we love having that little bit of extra room, and there's nothing better than a Bahama Mama on your verandah

We have been talking Disney Cruises with a couple tonight. They have never cruised and are Disney fans and are thinking of taking a cruise.

Of course we are trying to encourage them to take the Disney Cruise

Robin, thanks for the well wishes for Chad! He goes to the specialist tommorrow to see what needs to be done since it's started healing already. They couldn't put him in a cast yet. Good luck talking the couple into a DCL... maybe they'll go in Jan 09

Embarrassing... not so pleasant post here... but we got some giggles from it. So here it goes....

Chad laughed when I told him his specialist's name. I couldn't figure out why he was laughing after I explained he would be seeing Dr. Butkovich on Monday. He thought I said Dr. Butt-itches The humor in our family is what keeps us sane

Mandy, what a great upgrade!!! I'm so excited for you guys, take plenty of pics for me!!!

Got a question ladies... we wondering if we can book with DCL even if the 2009 rates aren't up so we can start paying on it? Any thoughts!

Im here....Just got back from a Birthday party for my DGS Billy, he just turned four!.....
We also had the DGDs, as its Sunday...So its been a busy day....

But beautiful..as long as you dont mind that it wasnt really very warm...unless the sun was shining on you...It just felt more like april, then July...

A cruise in 09 sounds like fun...
But I dont think we could go again in the winter.. .Too big of a chance of freezing our pipes in the house(we heat with wood)... ... Im also pertty commited to WDW trips for the next few years.... For assorted DGKs
But you never know....alot of plans can change in 2 years... ,

We had a lovely day yesterday. We took the girls shopping and bought them a bikini and surfer shorts for their holiday and afterward we went out to my fave Italian restaurant for dinner

About your next Cruise, I would just give DCL a phone call to see if they are taking bookings that far out, it wouldn't hurt - Good Luck

First, on the UK Community we have just held a Secret Summer Exchange and my present came this morning

I got a lovely Disney pen, a couple of Stitch pins, a body cream, hand cream and a rather exotic salt body scrub that I can't wait to try out

Then this afternoon my Cruise docs came, not that you get much, just our luggage tags (which are now wrong as we've upgraded) and the Bahamas Immigration Forms - mind you it's still great to receive stuff from Disney

We are going to try to book early to pay for it earlier (with a possible upgrade )

Mom has asked me to gather up our gang to see if everyone wants to go and so far everyone has said yes with the Jan 04, 2009 date So it looks as if we have a big crew again
